Really nice place to visit, easy parking and a nice walk down to church island, stunning views up and down menai to both bridges, and the little church with its gorgeous glass window is just beautiful.

Church Island is a lovely tranquil place for a mooch and to absorb yourself in the history of the island. Some stunning views all round, especially from the war memorial at the summit. Second time of visiting and the 15th Century church was open this time. Incredible piece of local history. Its just a pity so many graves have been neglected and fallen prey to mindless vandals. Overgrown in many places, headstones damaged, statues and pillars decapitated and bricks through tombs. Would take a good while with a team of volunteers to sort it out 😕

Amazing setting on a little causewayed island next to the Menai Suspension Bridge and with views of the Britannia Bridge. Park in the public car park just along from Waitrose. It's just a short walk through the woods.
