Don't help people in trouble. Their acceptance criteria have been really restricted. I've been going they're for years for treatment for my cats. Last year, I desperately needed them, my cat was in a lot of distress, she needed help. I got told from reception I didn't quality for help as I wasn't on the required benefits any more, I used to get help when on WTC, which I was at the time, I was told to find a private vet which I couldn't afford, I only worked part time then due to my disability
My beautiful little girl died in my arms. To me, that was a cruel act from the RSPCA and life was lost high could have been saved.😪😪😪😪🤤

Completely unhelpful customer service. I'm sure they do great work for animals, but the person on the phone was nothing but rude and unhelpful when I tried finding information about an unowned cat I had taken to a vet to be scanned.

I had grown attached to this stray and was intending to adopt him if no owner could be found. He got transferred to this animal hospital so I wanted to find out how he was and what will happen to him. The person on the phone refused to entertain any of my questions and even insinuated he could be put down without me having any way of finding out. I would have thought a charity with the aim of protecting animals and getting unowned pets adopted would have been happy to find such a willing volunteer, but no.

First I was lucky to be seen cause I was registered 5 years before. You get charge for a visit of less than 10 minutes to tell you to get another appointment.Get there 15 minutes in advance to be seen an hour later with no animal in the lobby waiting for treatment and then again for another appointment pure waist of time. They get good wages founded by charity run like capitalist, profits based, stinks rotten apples who ruins it for everyone.worst have seen.I would like a surprise investigation to show the people.

Ridiculous. They wont even open there doors instead they leave people standing outside with there pets for hours. They left a note outside to ring the buzzer that they do not answer. They do not respond to emails other than asking for donations via direct debit or membership. They could not care less about peoples pets and aren't interested in listening to anybody who has an emergency. I now have to wait more days to see if I can get my rabbit seen because many vets are too busy and can't offer appointments soon enough. The RSPCA was my last hope for an emergency. I'm probably going to lose my rabbit because I'm running out of time. Its disgusting and not right that I can't get my rabbit seen too. Each hour is critical.

MONEY! MONEY! MONEY! The only thing this place cares about. It wasn't always like this. The care and safety of animals definitely used to be their priority and it showed in their actions/behaviour, but the last few years the vets/staff have definitely shown their real face. They don't care about animals anymore. They don't even pretend. MONEY! MONEY! MONEY! I don't get it. THEIR INNOCENT ANIMALS. RSPCA, YOUR SICK. I have a sneaky feeling the organisation taking over is going to be even more money orientated. Charities aren't charities anymore and haven't been for a really long time.

We had to take our beautiful, precious little 19 year old girl, Daisy, to be put to sleep today and I can’t thank the vet enough (I’m so sorry, I was in such a state that I’ve forgotten her name!).

She treated Daisy with such care, warmth and compassion and had such a lovely way about her! She extended that towards myself and my son, as we were both so distressed. My sweet little loves last moments were calm, and she passed very quickly and painlessly. It was such a comfort to us, and we’ll be forever thankful to the vet and the other members of the staff who dealt with us with such care and sensitivity at a truly heartbreaking time.

I would like to say that Daisy had been under a previous vet, who completely missed the cancer she had! The vet at the Harmsworth who saw her diagnosed her within minutes of seeing her. She is also the 2nd cat I’ve had euthanised at the hospital. We lost our 16 year old boy Jake, 4 years ago and our experience then was also a positive one.

I have absolute faith in the staff at the Harmsworth and think they are doing an extremely difficult job, with limited funds and resources, but in my experience they do it really well!

So thank you 🙏🌻

Daisy’s family.

They try and help but, only have limited resources. people think it's cheaper than a pricey vet and try and go there when they could afford to PAY a proper vet. they turn up outside in expensive cars, so sickening
