This company is an absolute scam. I moved into an apartment which i viewed online, after making the initial deposit. I asked if i could get a physical viewing and they said no i cant ...... they allow walkins but i cant view?
The apartment was not as described and was alot smaller in space. The kitchen was smaller than ever. paying 2500 monthly for a tiny apartment is crazy. The communal areas are nice but alot of maintainace issues at all times. My terrace Door was not functioning well for a year but was never fixed.
Most residents i spoke to had same issues.
I wouldnt suggest any person in the right mind moving here.

The apartment is good, but the customer service is horrible! Most concierges spend more time smoking than paying attention. And everything you're going to do extra they charge, they charge for the dog, they charge for the parking lot. You don't have an email reply and nothing. They really don't know how to serve a customer!!

The design is really good (that is what lures people into signing up for this absolute mess of a place). Building management and property management are abysmal, to say the least.

1. The internet service is a joke, it's worse than dial-up. And they changed the service provider with a lot of pomp and glory (all that glitters) only to bring an even worse one (is not gold). And no you cant have your own broadband.

2. It took them 5 months to fix our doorbell. They have a fancy app to record all maintenance issues (all that glitters) but they very conveniently close cases without fixing or contacting you (is not gold).

3. They have fantastic facilities like a rooftop terrace, work-from-home pods, and plant pods - but everything is paid. £50-£100 an hour for some of them. The free gym has very few basic machines for all the buildings.

4. The reception area is stunning, but if Quintain is thinking of cost-cutting then the receptionists can easily be replaced by dolls. No matter what you ask be ready for the most unimaginative and uninspired responses for " I cannot help you".

5. The management is the most inhumane customer support team I have experienced - We hate moving and would have ideally extended our stay despite all the problems, but the agent Sofia Branco took weeks to respond to our emails, so we couldn't extend our stay as it was too late, putting immense pressure on us to find a new place in such a short period and challenging rental market.

We nearly lost our booking into a new place, because it took Sofia 23 days to provide a tenant reference (never failed a payment, never had any complaints)

Now that we have moved out, it took us 13 days of chasing to get ONE email about our deposit refund, to which I responded immediately and never heard back. And they want to deduct half of our security deposit for mostly natural wear and tear. Like they want us to pay for painting the whole apartment, and pay £210 for cleaning when we left the place as we found.

THE BIGGEST SCAM EVER

AVOID AVOID AVOID!!! I can't stress this enough. It's an absolute scam - false advertising, an unbelievably absurd and unreasonable contract they manipulate against you, awful support and 0 compassion. 3-6 weeks average email response times. Lived in London for 10 years and this place is the worst I have ever heard of. Ignore this message and you will be left with solicitor bills and a court case. If you do anything right when looking for a house just PLEASE avoid Quintain Living!!!

Sincerely I recommend you not to stay with Alameda. I was one of the 2021/2022 tenants with Alameda. Except for the good location and convenience for shopping, the quality of its customer relationship management has seen a continuously going down in many aspects: poor Wi-Fi, slow response speed for any concerns and issues of residents, value added services cutting (they used to have free printing service for everyone) ,etc.

Of all the places I have lived in London this one is by far the worst. Not just the wifi never working but the Residents Team are completely incompetent. Nobody answers the phone or addresses any queries. The team at the desk are purely for decoration. The moving out process has been the most stressful I have ever experienced. They try to take half your deposit for random things including a decorator and painting fee to repaint for the next tenant moving in. Avoid this place at all costs. There is a reason they had advertisements in the lifts to give a positive review on Google and you could win an Amazon voucher because no-one would give a good review to this place for free.

Poor service overall
i) Concierge spends more time smoking than helping residents. I should not have to walk into your storage room to find my own parcels. That's WHAT IM PAYING YOU TO DO.
ii) Our doorbell has been broken for over a month and I have yet to hear back regarding any plans to fix it
iii) WiFi provider keeps changing and is now practically worse than using 3G in a cave

One of the concierge is racist, a white male about 30 (Nov 25 2022, Alameda 19.00 pm ish).

I live here for 2 years, super disappointed. I recorded you.

And according to my Asian neighbors, same person refuse to collect her parcel. I still remember Quintain said they have a concierge to collect parcels.

This is hilarious, 70% of residents are colored.
