Maidenhead Aquatics Pyle

This is my "go to" shop for anything to do with fish, plants or practically anything Aquatic really! very friendly staff! The manager Alice is brilliant. I have gone in a few times with pictures of plants I wanted that I couldn't get anywhere else and she has ordered them for me! She's very friendly, and really helpful too! Nothing is too much trouble for her or her staff! And they know their stuff!! Would highly recommend for all your aquatic needs!

We went and bought 2 different types of fish. 8 fish in total costing £41. They all died within a few hours, we messaged them and they told us to go up and take the dead fish and they will sort out a refund. Obviously they did not. One of my waters poped up as a little bit off, (could of been something she put in or their fish could have effected this) and also said it wasn't there problem that the lady that sold me the fish didn't ask any questions about my water or my tank because she's not a tropical fish specialist she's a salt water specialist. 'They are all "fish specialist" , compared to pets at home'. absolute joke. They've got sharks with small fish but then tell you, you shouldn't put them togehter , all there tanks had way to many fish in them , expecially the pond fish. Shameful. I'm not only sitting her £41 down , I'm also sad 8 fish are dead, not including all the rest as I know a few people who have fish and have now told me their story's about the same happening to them, from this store. There only interested is money. Stay clear , if you like your money too.

Great shop, this place is within the grounds of Pyle garden centre.
They stock large and small tanks and tanks that are built on too of furniture cupboards to help them blend in with similar furniture within your home.
They also stock plants, Koi carp, standard cold water and some exotic fish and other aquatic species.
Staff seem quite friendly and could tell you a lot of information or maybe about the fish they have in stock.

This store is located at the main carpark of Pyle garden centre with disabled access also.

The girl working there has such a attitude no customer service. Got 4 fish from there one died on my very short drive home .my daughter was so upset. Will never go there again. Will be using a much better and more helpful place.... staff need customer training.

I was so happy to see Steve back in Pyle. He is one of the best and most knowledgeable people in the shop.

A really well run aquatics centre, clean and tidy,and the fish are all in good condition. Just missed the outside pond and garden stuff.

Usually nice people, good products, masses of choice.
I phoned today (27th January 2023) to get some advice as to how I can rehome four fancy goldfish that have grown huge in a short time and now are too big for my tank. Maidenhead aquatics sold me this tank for these very fish about 18 months ago. I didn't get advice, just a right telling off from an unpleasant lady there, about not buying a bigger tank in the first place. No advice, just a telling off. And they sold me the tank for these fish. I won't be going back there, I didn't phone them to just get a telling off, I wanted advice.
