Appalling service. Avoid at all cost. You will waste your time, energy, and money!
After an initially okay start, our plans were rejected by the council for no apparent reason. Despite Limetree’s reassuring words, it took an appeal and several months to get the plans approved!
After which, our builders requested structural drawings to start the works and… communication simply stopped! We tried to call Limetree dozens of times, left messages… radio silence.
It led to our works being delayed by over a month. The plans supplied by Limetree were totally inadequate for our purpose and I would never consider this company for any serious building project.

Highly recommend Alistair and his team. I have used Alistair personally through my Loft Conversion company for 5 + years. He is extremely knowledgable and has many years experience within the industry. His turn around times and communication is brilliant!

We have used Ali to produce plans for two building projects in recent years, and would have no hesitation using him again. He was patient when listening to our ideas, and had plenty himself to help us achieve a balance of what we wanted, and what was achievable. I found Alistair and his team friendly and communicative and very professional. They managed everything from the initial survey right through to planning and final drawings - very happy with the service and would highly recommend.

Appointed for a dormer extension. Doctored a planning approval document which he passed off as genuine to us and had in fact never submitted the application to the council. Subsequently investigated by Wandsworth Fraud team and admitted to producing a false document citing 'work pressures and dropping the ball'.

Apart from that, uncommunicative and multiple inaccuracies in drawings.

Avoid at all costs.

I chose Lime Tree on recommendation from my building firm to complete the architecture plans on my loft extension.

Initially relatively communicative, this quickly tailed off and the plans ended taking longer and longer with no word from Lime Tree – I ended up having to go back through the building firm to get them to contact Lime Tree.

The plans put together weren’t brilliant – and in fact they’d put a toilet in the loft bathroom in a place where it was impossible to stand up due to the slope. I had to work with the builders on site to re-draw and get sensible real-life design. It felt like there was a lack of thought and care.

There was a huge delay with the plans that had been reviewed and rejected by the council were then resubmitted in error by Lime Tree rather than submitting the revised plans. This was confirmed by the council, and pushed the review to the bottom of the pile.

All in all I would say it was a bad experience, with the complete lack of communication until multiple reminders were sent being the worst as building work was delayed.
