Beautiful ambiance, great service, average food, expensive!

Ben was wonderful inviting us in till the end! He gave us a quiet space in the terrace and looked after us through out.

Food was as good as anywhere. The croissants were similar to the ones you buy from your local co-op.

Cakes were nice and moist, but had missing flavours.

Portion size was good.

The orange juice was nice and fresh, so was the coffee.

I might just go back for a coffee only for the ambiance.

Did I say it was Expensive? Yes my Scrambled egg with smoked salmon was £13 never have I ever paid more than £9

Terrible and expensive coffee. Basically milk with some water in it and a hint of actual coffee.

Food was tasty and well presented but rather old fashioned and carby.

Goat cheese salad + croque Madame + 2x cappuccinos = £37

For that price I could have enjoyed The Ivy.

Beautifully decorated, with a lovely roof terrace, and absolutely delicious food. It's a little bit more expensive than you might pay elsewhere but the quality of the food and the experience is so much better than you'll find pretty much anywhere else in Guildford. An absolute hidden gem.

Nice ambiance. Food smelled and looked good. Loose leaf tea was really nice.
Big disappointment was the coffee. Just a Nespresso machine at the back. Not fresh ground coffee in a local cafe? Really surprising.

Beautiful atmosphere, small romantic and exquisite brunch menu. A large menu of unusual but delightful coffees as well as tea, including matcha latte.

My Croque Madame was the best I've ever had. Staff were lovely but only giving 4 stars as 4.50 for a tea and 2.90 for a teeny americano plus service charge seems a bit pricey ?
