Brilliant gallery showcasing seldom seen artists from the Middle East and Arab world. I always visit when I'm in London and look forward to their exhibits as well as their excellent bookshop.

Art & history! I was not overly interested in going to see an artist I knew nothing about, but then I started listening to the curator and I was hooked! An amazing curator tour. Stunning art, but even better narration from a talented art historian. The mosaic rooms never disappoint, in fact I am always so impressed by the quality of their events and shows.

Well managed facility on an extremely busy corner of Earls Court opposite the Metro Bank. A good size for a art center

Really interesting free events which are frequent so you want to keep coming back but don't feel like you're missing out. Really a small gem with a great atmosphere. I went to a lecture by Hamed Khosravi (we too have a right in this house) but will be back again for 'when legacies become debts' showcasing generations of work by Iranian artists and writers

Whenever I need to get books relating to the middle east, or need my fix of middle Eastern literature, I check this place's bookshop out.

They also feature really spectacular art installations and the staff are super friendly and happy to provide recommendations.

Makes me feel at home

A small gallery that offers an intimate experience into a minority's psyche, the melancholic memories and the day-to-day marginalization sprinkled with the desperate need for connection.
- Phantasies on lost phone, June 2022 exhibition

I also found 2 interesting books that I bought from their book shop. Can't wait to read them!

Great exhibition about Palestinian refugee camps - DAAR, Stateless Heritage. Really enjoyed it.

There are meeting rooms here and talks here, but as a cultural showpiece this centre has not really taken-off. I think that as a language school for MSA (Modern Standard Arabic) in collaboration with SOAS, this centre could provide an access point for cultural-encounter rather than cultural adjustment (based on Western dominant culture). Language (MSA) studies are the way forward (some sort of college)... We reject Edward Saïd in favour of Moam Gadaffi, whose 'Green Book' used to be stocked publicly in the respectable old Foyles bookshop, Charring Cross, London! CND
