Excellent contemporary art gallery housed in a late 19th century building on the Peckham Road. My latest visit was to view the Simeon Barclay exhibition which has just opened and is well worth seeing. Entry is free.

I would recommend a visit on a Saturday or Sunday when the garden designed by artist Gabriel Orozco is open to the public.

The SLG also houses a good licensed cafe/restaurant called Crane's Kitchen.

Nice little gallery great to see some work close to Camberwell it is however very contemporary here and some of the work was a little bit too conceptual for my tastes but always interesting to see!

Nice relaxing space neatly kept with knowledgeable staff on hand to explain and assist

It wasn't really my thing...
And it was rather small, luckly there are 2 buildings of the South London Gallery which are rather close to eachother.
I did see some nice artworks (images added to this review). You can for aure find aome inspiration for different design or art projects you might have. Or perhaps even buy some of the art.

I only auggest to visit thisbplace if you're in the area already.

Excellent food with locally sourced food which is nice. I liked the benches for seating and the outdoor seating must be great in nice weather. Nice, bright and spacious area for seating

A nice gallery with a quaint coffee shop and outside area. The exhibition area was quite small but with interesting art. The coffee shop is a pleasant spot to stop by with lots of food and cakes available. A little pricey and service was a bit slow given the gallery wasn’t very busy at the time. The gallery also has a small gift shop with interesting books available.

Great place to decompress after a stressful day at work. Finish work at 5pm still have 20 to 30 mins to appreciate some art.
