The Brownston Gallery

It's an art gallery paintings no photographic prints which seem to be more popular these days. I thought very overpriced but then I prefer a good print and of course my own photos lol

A great little venue for local artists to exhibit their work.

A fabulous space with a great selection of work by local and national artists. Also, some lovely sculptures, ceramics and jewellery. Something for everyone! I would highly recommend visiting if you are in the area.

We opened the front door to this Art Gallery to be greeted by a small dog running towards us barking at the top of its voice. The Art Gallery woman picked up the dog. I explained that my mother is dog phobic and could she put it away for the duration of our visit. Her response was a swift 'no'.
Not only is this incredibly rude, to treat an 83 year old Art lover customer in that way, but it defies belief that any business person would think this is good business. Unbelievable.

Nice to have such a lovely gallery so close by, I visit as often as possible 😁 a good variety of styles always on show and the owner is always very informative.
