The collection is absolutely stunning pieces of art work. It has to be the best exhibition I have been to so far.🖼 It is literally in the heart of London and the admission is completely free of charge. There is a cafe inside too which serves great food and service.☕️There is also afternoon tea served here. We ended up spending 2-3 hours there. It’s a hidden gem worthy of being explored. 💎I would also recommend it if you want some cool aesthetic photos.

This is a great little exhibit in the heart of London. It’s free and you just walk in, no ticket required at all. We went in quite late so I’d say feel free to enter anytime before 5pm. We spent about an hour in here but I would say 2-3 hours is perfect. The different coloured rooms, the painting, the items were so amazing and pretty. I definitely recommend especially to get some cool photos.

Never even heard of this museum in London but was absolutely incredible. Free entry (and no need to pre-book) though we paid extra for the Disney/French art exhibition. The Disney exhibition was incredible and well worth the entry, but the standard collection was also top notch. Every room was packed full of treasures (amazing to see the laughing cavalier up close) and as it's not well know, it was easy to get round and see many of the exhibits. There was a queue for the restaurant so we didn't eat but will certainly be back in the future to spend more time here. Highly recommended.

Great space and great collections. Paintings, furniture, armoury, figurines etc. I don't know why or how it's free but it is. There's a Great courtyard cafe inside that you can support and of course there's a donation box to add support as well . With cloakrooms and modern toilets available it is a fantastic way to spend a few hours.

What a wonderful place to visit. My friend from the USA was visiting me and he asked me if I would be interested in visiting the museum and having lived here for 22 years has convinced me to go check it out. I knew nothing about this museum until we had a good walk around. The displays are magnificent and grand. The décor is something you desire if you had the riches to fund such lavish taste. The staff are all very polite and friendly. I had a wonderful time looking at all the exhibitions. I just didn't check out the Disney display or get a chance to eat at the French restaurant which looks lovely.

I highly recommend here.

Relatively small museum with wonderful display of interior fittings of a Victorian noble mansion. Paintings were not the most attractive collection there but the wonderful furniture & fittings. They have an interesting collection of armours. What was more appealing to me were the 2 imperial wine cups which were lost during the Opium War, whereby it’s stated that only 4 existed in the world!

One of my favourite places I have visited in London. Absolutely stunning.

This collection is FREE for the general public to view.

The Wallace Collection is a national museum housing the wonderful works of art collected in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries by the first four Marquesses of Hertford and Sir Richard Wallace, the illegitimate son of the 4th Marquess.

I would recommend 2hrs to visit. Giving you an adequate viewing time of the collection unless you go down the rabbit-hole of looking at all of the miniatures or are really into armour.

I can't believe this place was missing from my list of 'London gems'! I visited The Wallace Collection on a Saturday afternoon and had the most incredible experience. Entrance is free and you'll be surrounded by astonishing pieces of art 🎨. The colours and décor of the various rooms are just a dream. An incredible place that will transport you to another time. Absolutely recommend and can't wait to be back! ✨
