Great place we wanted to visit for a while now. It takes you from the minute you drive through the entrance. The staff is so welcoming and friendly. We were blown away by the magnetism of the grounds the ancient trees and the scenery in general. The mansion itself is also breathtaking. We visited the Gallery the shop as well as the restaurant. A day well spent. We will be back when the sun shines.

Lovely day visiting the Portrait Artist of the Year exhibition. Other galleries interesting and beautifully laid out. Nice walks around grounds, dog friendly areas, but lambs around, dogs to be kept on leads obviously. Looks like good range of activities for little people, but we didn't have any with us this time. Cafe excellent, food lovely, service good. Had booked table in advance.

Well worth the entrance fee.
Plenty of parking.
Nice walks.
If you enjoy art you're in for a treat.
The architecture is stunning.
The restaurant is very good, but if you're on a budget, take a picnic. Plenty of lakeside picnic areas. ( you'll need a bag to take your rubbish home)
Enjoy the boating after.
Definitely recommend.

Beautiful place and welcome relief from the heatwave as there was air conditioning inside. Amazing displays both regular and visiting. The grounds are stunning although the heat prevented us exploring on this trip so we will have to go back. Excellent lunch and afternoon tea. Clearly a lot of consideration has gone into keeping all ages happy. Something for everyone.

Such a lovely place. Beautiful pictures, interesting objects and I particularly enjoyed the folk art upstairs.
A nice cafe with good coffee & sandwiches. The walk through the ground is lovely too, with plenty of interesting things to see.

Great place to visit with lots to see, from the moment you enter you see the amazing landscape by Lancelot 'Capability' Brown. There are some impressive "out buildings" to see as you walk around

The house itself is impressive and contains a very impressive art collection from pottery to paintings, from all around the world.

The restaurant has a great menu - but worth booking in peak times.

Well worth a visit and not expensive, under 18's are free.

Such a gorgeous place. Playground for the kids in the woods, relaxing strolls and dog walks around the fields, inspiring art... And when the sun is shining there's nowhere better to sit and soak up the surroundings.

We are local to Compton Verney, so we walk here quite a lot. The grounds are beautiful, and it is a very pretty location. Once parked, it's a short walk to the main house where you can find the indoor exhibitions, a cafe/restaurant, and a gift shop. There are lots of trails around the park, and almost everywhere is wheelchair/buggy accessible. A great place to go for a morning/afternoon out, and there are always lots of events on.
