Yeti Restaurant

Be prepared to be humbled, excited and fulfilled with superb Nepalese dishes.
You could easily dismiss Yeti Restaurant as a takeaway just off the high street. I’m sure it gets most of its business through takeaway orders. It is indeed a restaurant, the upstairs area is testament to it. The walls are decorated in Nepalese paraphernalia; a knife, fork, napkin and flower decorate the cafe style tables. The interior may lack an abundance of light, but this more than made up for by the jovial personalities of the staff. The owner is a beautiful character, a laugh and a smile that is unforgettable.
The menu has some of the best examples of Traditional Nepalese food that I have experienced. You have to try their Nepali Dhido thali, the buckwheat-esque porridge and complimentary small dishes are delicious.

Forget the decor, if you like Nepalese food, you have to visit Yeti. Going again Sunday.

I'm a regular customer of this place and slowly I order less and less, let me tell you WHY.

So they seem to be going downhill with their cooking. If I order Mutton curry or any similar curry for delivery I will receive meat swimming in OIL hardly any sauce JUST OIL, unless I call and ask for food to be as it should be IN SAUCE not OIL, and then Seafood rise seem to be having less and less of so called seafood in your rise! Now look at the pic below of what a fantastic seafood rise they gave me yesterday, its a JOKE! NO seafood in it whatsoever NOT even one tiny prawn!!! I reckon they should stop CHEATING customers and ripping them off by selling plaine food promised of something else. That's NOT FARE on people who pay money!!!!

It will be a while after this until I will order from them again, they kept disappointing me every single time and now its absolutely unacceptable.

I assume you order your food from somewhere else from now on....

PS crispy pork belly comes with a TINY DROP of sauce which is enough for 2 pieces but NOT for the whole portion. Not nice at all....

Seriously flavorsome one, simple dal-bhat-tarkari(mutton). You’ll counter the felling of your own home(specially mutton). But it would be great if the portion could have been in large amount ( rice ).

Warmly place. Staff were friendly, good selection of vegan food which was nice and the drinks where tasty (also interesting/amusing if you don't drink the bubbled drinks often). Only thing I wasn't a massive fan of was the type of cheese they use, but that's just a personal preference. Apart from that, everything was great. Would def go back.

Food was ok....lol....my friends had better experience tara for me the food was so so...

Delicious food, service was a bit slow but worth the wait! It was out 1st visit..would go back again.and again...
