Watch out for this store the are popular with overcharging.Make sure you check the label and ask for a receipt or you will never know what your being charged. This store is popular for charged customers incorrectly. They deny the evidence and claim the grilling haloumi is £1.99. I took the picture and its £1.59 for sure.
Not right to treat customers like this. Not happy at all. This has happened 3 times before. Wont be going here in a hurry.

I love going to the international foods in portswood. Restocking all my spices, grabbing pickles, rice and chillies. They have such a huge selection of produce, I never leave empty handed. I always get some lamb samosas, vegetarian samosas and onion bhaji 's. All made locally. They are delicious.

Went here today, we brought aubergines. They looked fresh and good quality. We went back home to cook it. It had clearly been frozen and not just that, they were appalling prices for many different products. The aubergines had gone bad inside and weren't able to cook.

This shop, in particular the butchers, is disgusting and I struggle to believe that it would pass food hygiene regulations. Three time's now I have purchased meat from the butchers, taken it home and opened it only to find out it smells like death and is clearly rotten (whilst being well within its use by date).

Of course, a one off having bad meat near the sell by date could possibly happen. But three times in quick succession is completely unacceptable and frankly unsafe.

The manager told us to come into the store over the phone, and when we got there the staff were unbelievably impolite, and there was no manager in-store to help anyway.

Despite having the clearly rotten meat which is within it's use by date, proof of purchase and the original packaging we were refused a refund. I am disgraced at how poor this customer service is.

To top it all off, the real cherry on top. Seeing the staff behind the meat counter picking their nose without wearing gloves and some chunks of meat in his beard - disgusting.

I strongly urge people to avoid this shop, in particular the butcher, and I will NOT be going back.

I do NOT recommend the butchers here. I am very very upset and disappointed to have come here twice in a months to buy “fresh” chicken which smelt like fish and then smelt like someone has thrown up over the meat when this was bought in good faith. After trying to return the shed diseased offensive meat I was told to take the meat back home and questioned on how I stored meat previously purchased two days ago. No one should have to deal with rotting meat after such a short time. It clearly was not fresh in the first place. The staff refused to give me fresh meat or a refund and insisted I call back again the next day.
Buy this meat at ur own risk. I will NEVER purchased meat from this shop again!
The lack of hygiene here the lack of basic customer service and the fact this gentleman was picking his nose ad he questioned my hygiene is beyond a joke.

This place is over priced. They have presented well the poor quality products. Stay away from frozen section. Bought kebabs and they all were off. I asked them if they would return and the manager said sorry and advised me to throw those kebabs in the bin. Anyway thank you for their worthy advice

Quality food and vegetables and good meat! I go in there to find virtually any spice you need for your food and went in there a few times to buy ‘glutinous rice’ which is very unusual to find!
