Indian Lounge Resturant & Takeaway

Super meal this evening. No frills inside but they let the food do the talking. Chef took time to come over and ask us how the food was and we ended up having a nice chat about restaurants he'd worked at in our local town. Waiter was attentive and good with our two young boys. Big bottles of Cobra and the bill was still reasonable.
What's not to like!?

If I could leave this place a 0 star I really would! This place was terrible.. the restaurant itself was unclean and dingy. If I'd had my way I'd have walked from there upon setting foot inside. My husband on the other hand felt that giving the food a chance was the right thing to do.
1. We were paying high end price for poor quality food.
2. Making the child price £2 cheaper than the adults is totally unjustifiable. 4 year olds eat very little!
3. Pouring coke/lemonade from a large bottle kept on a shelf ( only likened to a cheap night out at the local rugby) and then charging standard restaurant prices is daylight robbery.
4. NO COVID RESTRICTIONS ANYWHERE!!!
5. The number of flies that seemed to come from nowhere once our food was on the table was a wonderful added extra 🤮
6. If you are looking for food in the Llandovery area I can not recommend enough that you do not visit here!

So very disappointed with the meal, we used the place Friday the 13th aug 2021, cash only(very odd as as lots of places are trying to move to no cash) we had a takeaway for 2 people and the cost seem good value (£40) for 2main 2 side dishes, 2 rice 2 bread and some p'dom, however found the food to lack flavour very watery the lamb was cooked to a inch of being leather, the chilly lamb I had had no kick no flavour.
The staff seem helpful and friendly when we pick it up.

Great food great service! The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. The food was absolutely spot on. One of the best curries we've ever had, would highly recommend.

For a small town in Wales we had a very nice meal. Generous portions, and great, friendly service. Would definitely recommend if you're in the Llandovery area.

Enjoyed our Easter Day dinner from here - we were super impressed by so many of the dishes - we totally over- ordered so ended up with quite a few - the samosas, the grilled king prawns, the daal and the sagaloo and the butter chicken were all awesome. Good naan, good popadoms - honestly all yummy - kids, who were not keen on getting Indian, were likewise happily involved in the food. Really happy - our first time at this place and we will be back. Thanks guys!

This is the 2nd time in recent months where I have got severe upset stomach from eating food here.

The owner is nice man and I like him but I can to defend this place where the food is pretty bland and frankly shouldn’t be running given the poor hygiene standards.
