hi i am a self employed builder from Birmingham. i have been employed as a temporary worker through the "boomerang" agency registered to this location in emails and companies house checks. this was for a small job in Nottingham city center. keep up it as it can get complex.
ok i have recently been notified from a small seedy little works agency manager by the name of " Andrew Connor" or so he professes as a temporary worker as a professional painter decorator for Nottingham. what i have done quiet safely and with extreme confidence for the last 24 years in total. with very very minimal complaint i might add.

with email conversations over a few days of coming to the end of a contract i was on at the time after being frog marched along in the conversation of slippery expertise as a car salesman little did i know at the time. this dishonest and crooked man asked me to go to the job. tipping honey potions into my ear as to the outlook would be rosy. i went along and was always reassured.
i had an appointment at a private surgery for my arm on the day approaching. the surgery was for a minor thing and did not effect my job at all. anyone knowing a surgeon appointment is like as rare as rocking horse....
it wasnt until i had gone to the appointment and called in to say it was a vital appointment did the mask begin to slip. the person changed as if to say i am your boss. " sorry could you repeat that" that kind of thing i would say to him. your not getting paid if you dont return staight away. leave whee you are and return to the job" excuse me i,m sorry did you say what i think you said. leave the surgery and return to work. i couldnt believe what i was hearing.
ok look do you mind if i call you back after the appointment that i am at at the moment.
no stay on the line and you will have to proove to me your not on another job. i said i can find a pay phone box and or ring you from the surgery itself if that makes it more proof in what i was doing. i had hoped that going the extra mile in saying this that it would help and strenghten the fact of a vital appt. yes"" you can do that. now at about this time i,m starting to remeber my gut feeling on the start off with this guy.
later he called back and said well you know what your not getting paid anyway the company doent want you back. i had gone to the site to get the timesheet signed and they had no idea that i wasnt allowed back. true story. the spoilt little man had obvoiusly had been very imotionally disturbed by the matter of an appoinment past his own world.
dreadfull dreadfull experience.
roll on when these backstreet agencies get there new government regulation. and more of the rating websites for job agencies please.
