Repair job carried out by the boys at Brian Shilton. The repair itself took over month. Took a while to get it done, but we got there in the end.

Had some teething problems with a wheel sensor and speakers not being reconnected properly and required me to go back and spend a few more hours there. Dave very kindly sorted it out promptly and even sorted my key battery out for me.

Repair which was paid through insurance.

These guys are very expensive otherwise. I was quoted £1000 for a small door ding and small bumper scratch which requires painting. I have found 10 other quotes with the most expensive being £250. Fair to say I will not be using them as they price themselves out.

Edit: The negative came today during my lease inspection prior to return of vehicle. Inspector noticed work had been done to rear quarter panel almost immediately. I didn’t notice it (as I’m not trained in the field), but there were masking tape lines in the door shut area which left marks resulting in a substandard paint job.
The cost to me would be an addition £260 - but luckily, as this is ‘Mercedes approved’, they waived the charge. I will be feeding this back to Brian Shilton over the phone tomorrow.

This in addition to the time take to fix the vehicle and not reconnecting parts was a bit of a let down.

I was recommended to have the damage on my car looked at by Shiltons by two friends. And I can honestly say the service provided was 10/10. My car came back looking like it was brand new again. A special thanks to all the staff but in particular to Bob and Dave who were very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. The damage and paintwork was rectified perfectly. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back if I have any other damage to my car in future. Great job :) and thanks again :)

Just picked up my car after having the front bumper replaced and some other minor scratches repaired. Very pleased with the work. Car looks brand new again! They really went the extra mile. Professional and courteous throughout, highly recommended.

Recommended by my sister. Their repairs are manufacturer-quality at a reasonable price. Cheaper alternatives would have left me with a poorer finish due to poorer materials. Despite closing for business in less than a week the staff have gone out of their way to help me in such a short space of time. I truly wish this garage would remain open as it is the best I have found and don’t know anywhere that can match it
