The Auto Group have been absolutely fantastic as it goes for a vehicle warranty company, pretty much all claims have been approved on the same day as my chosen garage has informed them of the issue and work required to rectify. On the odd occasion when a claim has not been approved, I have always had a call to explain why and often it is due to the part being a consumable part which I agree is a fair reason.

They have made dealing with them as easy and simple as possible with all calls I have ever made, being answered within seconds and payouts have always been on time without the need to chase.

In my eyes, The Auto Group really are a rare warranty company that actually are worth going with

They are not helpful at all and only take money each month, even though the damaged part is still covered by the warranty they simply deny claims for a variety of reasons. If you take that insurance, you will be obligated for the entire year.that was my personal experience I know few of my friends they are getting same problem after waisting time and money they just refuse to pay towards your claim in most cases they don’t even send mechanic/engineers to look at the problem.

Very disappointing, we had the ultimate warranty which appears to cover so many issues. Within 3 weeks of purchasing our car, it had a squeaking noise and pulled to side when braking.
Garage diagnosed wheel bearing failure and propshaft issue. This company delayed repairs by insisting on video evidence and then refused to pay out anything to help with repair as the failure was due to rubber elements and that comes under normal wear and tear. I’m sure this is the case in most vehicle break downs so STRONGLY ADVISE OTHER MOTORISTS NOT TO TAKE A POLICY OUT WITH THIS COMPANY

I signed up with autogroup to get warranty for my Mercedes vito London taxi. I have had a few claims now but things seem to be getting harder to get claims authorised? I had to wait for a phone call from the group to ask why I was at the garage and then I had to wait for the garage to get authorisation for my repair, which cost me a good 90 minutes of sitting waiting!
It's as if the group do not trust the garage but we are tied to this particular garage, we cannot use Mercedes main dealers even.

Nothing but hassle with this warranty company always trying to find some loop hole to avoid paying! I put a bag of sand down for ultimate cover and they’ve not paid a single penny to any repairs done on my car the things included in the warranty aswell they didn’t do anything just fobbed me off and gave me a bunch of excuses so they could work their way out of paying I DO NOT recommend getting this cover if your ever offered it they’re a waste of time and you’ll be constantly let down I don’t wish this on anyone what it’s done to me mentally no one deserves. This is a reply to your response.. even the issues I had before with my car you wormed your way out of any sort of contribution and in regards to the MOT I’ve been trying to get your help for ages months before the MOT was expired! And to get a valid MOT I need these parts fitting so don’t come at me with that trying to make your company look good a few people on the phone we’re lovely to speak to and did help the best they could but as a whole your company i wouldn’t recommend to anyone!

Very easy to reach customer care, very prompt and professional response from customer care. Not very pushy but professional follow-up when it came up for renewal. Caller respected the time and reached back at the said time to complete the renewal. Overall smooth sign up and renewal.
Only when it comes to claims, the logic they applied with regards to consequential damage is something that am not happy with, though the item mentioned was very much in my warranty contract.

Can not say how helpful the auto group were to me. They were very easy to contact and helpful in all departments. Paid out for the repair of my car and was a very fast process. Managed to get my clutch repaired and paid out within 3 days. Would definitely recommend

Mixed reviews on here. 6 weeks after taking out the warranty, my alternator packed in on my taxi (black cab). After RAC recovery to my chosen garage, I was back in the road within 24hrs of breakdown.

Got my vehicle to the garage just before closing. The garage diagnosed the fault and reported to autogroup. I got a call straight away asking for my last service history details. Once i provided these details my claim was granted. This is my 1st claim and i cannot fault the whole process. Customer service was great and very friendly/professional/fast service.
