Halfords - Melton Mowbray

We needed a new battery and we got a quote a new battery it was fitted very quickly we were also told about a free Halfords membership which we did and received £10 off for joining and a free car check worth £15 I was very impressed with the service and very courteous staff at melton Mowbray branch

Very good service. I called in advance to check opening hours and confirm availability of part (new car battery needed). In store, service was quick and friendly. The battery can be purchased for about 15-20% elsewhere/online, but would take significantly longer. Halfords fitted it too - I'd normally do this myself, but the terminals were pretty tight/rusted, and thought it best to leave to the experts...an extra £15, but probably worth it for peace of mind.

Not being a good shopper, this store is ideal.

Paying at the checkout was seamless and the system provided me with email receipt. Ideal for my business records. Well done Halford’s my experience was excellent. No fuss, right product,and good price.

Friendly, knowledgeable staff who processed my Confused.com vouchers quickly and without fuss. Also, the guy who fits the dash-cams gave me some advice on a product I bought from them over 3 years ago and as a result, it works again. Great customer service.

I've been to a fair few Halfords stores, but the Melton Mowbray store hands down is the best. Everything always looks neat, tidy, clean, and well stocked. The staff are very pleasant and attentive. If you need help, they are more than happy to lend you a hand. There is none of that feeling that you are a burden for needing help, only pleasant smiles and cheery attitudes. The staff also seem very well educated in their products, so I trust their advice on any products I'm interested to try.

Bought a car rooftop box online click & collect from the Melton Mowbray store. Picked it up approx 1hr later from store as no fitting service was available at the time and I needed to use it next day. I was attended by Paul who was extremely helpful and went more that the 'extra mile' to help me (an 83yr old) load it into my car which involved removing the packaging. The 5-stars are really for Paul and I hope that he gets the recognition he deserves. Customer service at it's best!

Well me and my son brought two bikes at £350 each i would of fort spending this much the service would of been much better the only service we got was the shop attendance just took payment he never explained nothing about the bikes,no one sized the bikes,my grand son fell off the bike and was injured because the seat couldn't be lowered now this should have been explained to us we at to take the bike back to have the seat pole shortened and for the brake to be fixed,spending £350 on a bike for it to go back and have parts cut off the bike just so its the right size not happy about it,my grand son's accident could of been avoided if we had the right service from the start. thanks Sandra

We were served by a happy, friendly and helpful man. He made sensible suggestions of things we may have needed to go with our purchase. He did this without sounding like a pushy salesman.
