Hopeless service leaving me without a car for two days. No loan car available apparently. But they do have a mini to abandon on my drive for 24 hours so far. If its not Barons telling you nonsense then its Alphabet (BMW leasing) talking rubbish too. Don't trust either of them

Terrible service, had to wait over 5 hours to have a simple MOT and tyre change with no apology and blaming their main switchboard for not booking it correctly. When leaving, I pointed out that the service light and tyre pressure light were still on and they said wait 24 hrs for it to update. 2 months later it still hasn't updated! Brought it into get it fixed and again no apology. Took over an hour to fix. BMW Service really needs to get sorted for the prices paid!

Hats off to the maître d' who welcomes the queue of people at 8am booking in their cars for a service, couldn't be more helpful! The epitome of customer service with a smile!

Whilst I did not receive the news or service I wanted to hear, it was delivered in such a way I'm convinced they'll do as they promise and push behind the scenes for a swift resolution....

Some okay experiences here but some not so impressive visits. Vehicle had an EGR recall done. Upon visiting was told that car would be compounded if it was taken in for service as it was showing an outstanding recall for EGR. No loan car available. That’s two EGR recalls in the span of 18 months. Apparently, the first batch were not up to snuff so were replaced a second time. All that time I was driving around in a car that could have caught fire at any point.

Changed vehicle because who wants to drive an engine at risk of fire? Returned for service. Requested some extra work like an air con refresh. Not done but not charged for it either. The vehicle was also returned with some deep scratches with paint missing (down to the primer). There was no way of proving the origin. Was it them or another customer? Either way, they have stopped offering their vehicle walk around service to mark out pre-existing damage. Sadly, you cannot trust someone when they say their engineers or technicians will mark out pre-existing damage in your absence. That’s basically an open door for them to damage something and then deny it.

Otherwise, COVID safe measures in place which provide some peace of mind.

Not always the best when it comes to timelines. Don’t provide telephone updates on when the vehicle is ready and I have had to chase them. A few hours work is a days work as it depends when they will get around to your vehicle. So they need to be better with communication and being honest about how long things will take.

It’s a place to be avoided in conclusion. The customer service is poor. The car park is tight. They’ll carry out unauthorised work and charge for it when you collect. That’s if they even bother to tell you your car is ready.

Dropped off car first thing. Car had not been touched until end of the day. Service agents make promises they can’t keep. Go elsewhere.

Update. No other service slots available at other dealerships. Had no choice but to book here. Unexplained additional charge of £95 on invoice. Has nothing against it. Another blank charge of £15 with no item mentioned. No damage waiver available on loan car. Excess is £500 and you find out on the day.

Me: I will be there in 15 minutes
Them: okay that’s fine

Arrived. Waited half an hour. No apologies. Just a receptionist who checked in once and said he will be with you shortly.

Definitely not returning again. Downgraded from 2 stars to 1. Zero if I could.

I had a serviced booked in for well over a month, got there (all be it the lady behind the desk was lovely and very welcoming and the only reason for the extra star) and was then told that the courtesy car I had was faulty and couldn’t be used and they didn’t have any others, which is hard to believe with Barons and Alphabet round the corner.
Not only have I wasted my own petrol driving from chobham to ash vale, I’ve lost money from not being able to work for the hour I have wasted.
I was then told that I couldn’t have another courtesy car for a month.

For the money I pay for a bmw I expected far better service and was reminded of the reason I never use bmw for my services etc.

Have ordered spare parts and had an issue diagnosed here. Dealer prices are to be expected, good customer service and car returned clean

Second time we have had to use the service centre for our mini, last time was some 2years ago, things haven’t changed, the staff in the service office are lovely (only reason I have given 2 not one star) aside from the fault fix I paid to have the brake fluid changed here, a week later my wife found the brake fluid cap by the wipers and on inspection all of the scuttle plastics missing.

It was an end of warranty check 2 years ago where things were missed by the mechanics and fixes were shoddy, meaning we had to go back at our inconvenience.

When will this dealer take note you need to sort your mechanics and quality control out! It’s beyond shoddy! A fix of bringing it back to be done again isn’t an apology when it’s an inconvenience, and no loan car offered.

Office staff you deserve a medal, managers you need to sort the workshop and quality control out!
