Halfords - Waterlooville

Not helpful in the slightest. Needed two break lights fitted so I was told to wait for someone to come and fit them. I waited in the car for a good 15 minutes for them to then tell me that they couldn’t fit them. I understand that it was Sunday hours however you close at 5pm on a Sunday and when I arrived it was 3:30pm bad customer service.

I purchased an item in store that I had recently checked on the Halfords website at £4.15. Visited in store as I didn’t want to click and collect and be told the item was unavailable. When in store the only item I could find was priced at £7.50. A couple of hours I checked my emails and looked at my e receipt and checked the product code on the Halfords website and the same product code was priced at £4.15. I popped back in store and is was given a very corporate response that the website is price matched with other suppliers. When I challenged this with the manager and expressed my concerns that pricing a product in store almost double the price of the website is shocking and that the prices should be reflected exactly the same as it’s the same company. As well as deceiving people that don’t have access to the internet. I would have thought better of a. Company as big as Halfords. I feel even more disappointed that I used to work for Halfords and that doesn’t sit well that they are doing this at times which are especially tight enough for people with all the fuel price increases. Shame on you Halfords!!!

Thankyou Alex for fitting a headlight bulb for me., even though the shop was busy I was able to leave my car at halfords and go shopping.
Alex was super helpful and polite, fitted bulb efficiently. after reading some of your reviews I was hesitant to ask but I'm glad I did.

I bought a new car battery online from the Waterlooville store and also paid to have this fitted at 3pm. I turned up to be told that the fitter didn't start work till 4pm and to come back then. This was despite a confirmation email sent to me at 9am confirming my 3pm appointment. When I returned there were 4 other people "booked" in at 4pm waiting. My appointment was started for 45mins. The service from this branch is horrendous. The 2 star review is simply for the fitter Alex who was left to deal with all the angry customers. The branch gets no stars!

Went there today for a couple of headlight bulbs to be change. Meera the young lady at the desk was helpful, polite and professional. Didn't have to wait long at all, great. Dean the machanic was also polite and helpful. Well done Halfords excellent experience

Purchased a car bulb via click & collect. Arrived and was greeted by a friendly positive female member of staff at the till. A fitter was called & the guy met me at my car. Another positive experience and the bulb was fitted with ease. Great service all round. Thank you!

Bought bulb for my old Volvo and paid £9 to have it fitted. Worth every penny! The very helpful guy had to take the airbox out to access the socket. Really nice staff, you won't find better.

Visited Waterlooville branch today for bulbs, battery check ect.
Staff...Dean and Meera could not do enough to help, both were brilliant along with Harry (manager) joined the motoring club and saved nearly £30 straght away. I have used other stores but will stick with this one now as the customer service was above what you expect...GREAT!
