Halfords - Sittingbourne

I am only going my our experience with Sittingbourne Halfords.
We have bought 3 bikes in a year, 2 most recently, with my husbands bike then being serviced.
My bike and my daughters bike we paid to be fixed together, and we were shocked once we got them home. They had been thrown together and not fixed together properly. Wouldn’t have minded so much, but we gave them over a month to do this before we collected them! My husband then had to spend another 1 and half, fixing the bikes together properly with all the additional bits we bought and paid for at Halfords, for them to fit. My husband bike service lol was a disaster from start to finish! He still has the same noise coming from the bike and paid over £100 to get it fixed! He went in there on 3 separate occasions and the bike still hasn’t been fixed. To say waiting 6 weeks is a bit extreme!!! Never once was any compensation offered for the constant journey down there, as you can never get through by phone! I wish Sittingbourne had another bike ship we could take it to, for a proper service. Wouldn’t recommend.
Only 1 member of the bike staff was actually helpful, that is the only reason I am giving it the stars that I have. Anyone buying a bike! Fix it yourself, is what I would recommend.

Popped in for some new pedals for my son's bike, Sam (Store 0497) assisted me and was so helpful and friendly. Even the person he served before me he showed complete professionalism and attention. Sam showed me the products and checked it was exactly what I needed and explained how to fit the pedals. So nice to receive such great service. Sam deserves recognition for sure. Thanks...

We visited the store yesterday as our child seat had malfunctioned and was only 2 months out of warranty. The staff especially Tom were absolutely brilliant and replaced the seat without argument as they could see it wasn't anything we had done. Installedbthe new one in the car and gave us a thorough demo as well. And to add to that they were fantastic with our grandchildren while we waited. Brilliant service all round from a great team. I was out Saturday night and tried going home and to my horror, both of my headlights had blown together. I took my little fiesta off to Halfords on a Sunday and I was met with absolutely amazing service. The staff - a chap called Simon who was in the middle of restocking some shelves, stopped what he was doing with a smile and was happy to help. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I was given several lighting options at an extremely fair price and I had them fitted within twenty minutes by one of the fabulous fitters there. Wonderful service especially on a Sunday! Thank you Halfords Sittingbourne I will definitely recommend.

Popped in to purchase and wanted assistance had phoned customer service . No one on shop floor only the one person on till. Did call out to cashier like a few other's if anyone about only to be told he was the only one available atm. Queued when my turn was told did not do item. Absolutely fuming he also said customer service do get things wrong. REALLY !!! Get more staff on shop floor .....

Thank god you have Simon working in your Sittingbourne branch… what a good lad.. hang on Mr Grover I’ll check out back and the package that said hadn’t been delivered.. had been delivered . He saved the day !!

found out I had forgotten to replace my oil filler cap when I last checked my oil.
Looked on Halfords to find a replacement and was in luck .Ordered it Sunday afternoon 3pm and was told I would receive an email telling me when it would be delivered to my local store .
Received an email by Monday dinnertime telling me it had been delivered 😊and I picked it up after work at 5pm .
Superb service ,thank you .

New battery required and I received immediate attention to confirm it was available and staff ready to fit. Following a short wait a technician arrived with the battery and fitted within 10minutes. Job well done.
