Arranged for husband to take his Electric Mountain Bike to Halfords for the removal and replacement of inner tube following a puncture with a 4” nail. Dan was punctual, polite, efficient and extremely helpful. Couldn’t have asked for more. The price was extremely acceptable as well. 10/10 👍

I had such a good experience here. I was dubious bringing my bike to a national chain, but the convenience and a poor experience and high prices at two local shops had me reconsider. I was quoted for a few items and agreed to the repairs. Upon pikcing my bike up, the technician said that he had disagreed with the initial assessment and did less work - which was fine by me, as he was convinced that with a little cleaning, I didn't need something replaced. The final price came in UNDER QUOTE - which never happens! Quick, easy, convenient and good results and less expensive than I had anticipated!

Fantastic service from Dave your Cycle Tech today. He was able to sort the issues with my bike's gears there and then and it now rides excellently again. Thank you so much Dave, you are a total legend :)

Chris at the Christchurch branch who works in the bike section, went over (past his shift) & above his duties to resolve my issue. Great service, thankyou.

Additional feedback - the phone in service prior to talking directly to the technician is sterile & inefficient system its like talking to robots.

Always happy when I need to visit store.Staff are welcoming and make you feel like they enjoy doing their job. Willing to give advice and not trying to sell the most expensive item if not needed, which is great customer service. 11 out of ten.

I bought some 'non tacky' masking tape as had run out for a job I needed to do. So I bought the blue stuff recommended from a staff member as I normally use the 3m green. This needed to be okay for car bodywork/paint.

Non tacky? Literally all the glue came off this tape and even glue and tar remover wouldn't get this glue off. It's cost me an extra day in labour! Bare in mind the car has been polished to a high standard and then I've had to apply pressure and glue and tar remover to get it off , possibly causing swirls and scratches again.

It just seems anything I buy from Halfords doesn't do what is says on the label.

When I entered the store I thought i knew what I needed. NATHAN didn't just spend time directing me to the product but had a quick look over my car to make sure it was the right product, gave me some friendly advice and has no doubt saved me time and money. Great service.

Absolutely atrocious, waited 10 minutes to pick up an item I bought online because of the guy on the till was serving another "customer" faffing around with tools. At the same time, nearly everyone in store were not wearing face masks despite being in the middle of a pandemic with the store showing zero regard for customer and public health. Absolutely careless and just can't be bothered attitude, with no managers anywhere to be seen. Also there were a few guys that seemed to be going in and out of store taking tools and items off the shelf, going out to the car park, using them, then coming back in for more. Not sure if it was stealing, or "mates" working at the store doing them a favour but clearly they don't deserve any of your business. Avoid this cowboy outfit like the plague.
