Downham Auto Stores

As a woman that knows very little about cars, I was over the moon to find this little gem on Downham High Street. The owner (Alex, I believe his name was), is a lovely chap and was quick to determine what was wrong with my car. Service was efficient, fast and friendly. Prices are very reasonable too, I hate getting ripped off at places like this so I was pleasantly surprised here. I would 100% recommend this lovely local auto shop!

Fantastic store. I live in Spain and was shopping around for a new Catalytic Converter over here. Someone recommended Downham Autos to me who quoted me less than half the amount the Spanish shops were charging. I received it in perfect condition 2 days later and saved myself a small fortune! Thanks!

Always a 1st class service to a lady (often) in distress! Downham Auto stores have always been able to assist me with my cars (past and present). I feel comfortable going to them knowing I will get a decent service and not be taken for a fool.

If your after an old fashioned store with old fashioned first class service look no further. I was so impressed with this shop. Couldn't have been any more helpful and it isn't expensive.

Guy who runs it, Al, is welcoming and knowledgeable. They’ve been able to get the parts I’ve needed off the shelf, there and then, or for rarer asks been able source very quickly for same or next day in my experience.

Excellent service. Al & the team are knowledgable, friendly and efficient. New brakes fitted.... very reasonable cost wise too!

My parents took their car to have new window wipers and the store was so helpful and even put them on too much better then Halfords !
