ECAS 2cv Parts Ltd

Best place for quality 2CV spares in my experience.

This company is run by a genuine enthusiast. He probably has more spares than are listed on his website. I imagine the place must be chock-full of rare parts that rarely come out to play. This company always tries to supply the best stuff available. And the man who runs ECAS knows his stuff inside out.

On the one occasion I had a faulty part sent to me by ECAS, the company both put things right very quickly and took an interest in exactly what the problem was to stop such parts being sent to other people.

Sometimes the shipping cost as calculated by the ECAS website is too high - in this case ECAS refunds the difference when the order is manually processed.

ECAS used to be mail order/internet ONLY. It wasn't set up for people to pop in to buy. Not sure if this is still the case, but I would definitely phone and find out before going there in person!

Review edited as this company seemed to miss the main theme of my review which is-

Purchased an expensive electronic ignition from them which failed within months. Advised by the manufacturer of the defective part to sort out a warranty replacement with the supplier (ECAS) but they didn't respond to any of my correspondence- not good when you have spent £100s with them previously. Obviously a bury your head in the sand and the problem will go away type of company eh? Can't stand poor customer service so now purchase from one of the reputable 2cv parts suppliers in France or Germany who understand the importance of looking after their customers.

Correct, I haven't purchased anything from you for 18 months- why would I after having received the level of service detailed above?

Yes, you may have been in the business for 30 years ECAS but in today's competitive market you need to up your game as your loyal old 2cv customers won't be around forever.

What exceptional service!!
I received a refund to my bank account for £2.40 so called to ask what had happened. I was told that as the postage was £2.40 less than I had paid, I was being refunded that amount.
In this day and age, going to that level of effort has really set a high bar for any other companies in this market. I for one will try here for any parts I need before even considering looking elsewhere. You are awesome!!!

These people are very helpful, there parts have always fitted, worked and arrived quickly, postage is a good price and normally very swift. The prices are normally the best and they don’t hold back on telling the truth about there parts, I.e they will tell you if is a cheap copy and is ok but you get what you pay for....you can’t blame them if it’s not what you wanted!
Can’t thank them enough for there support and advise and helping to keep one of the greenest cars on the planet alive!!!

I have used ECAS numerous times over the last month or so. They have had every part required for my snail. I’ve experienced excellent customer service and quick deliveries. Once more they are UK based and their excellent website with pictures and descriptions means you know exactly what you will be receiving. I would not go anywhere else. Thank you very much.
