Halfords - Taunton

I've just popped in to purchase a car seat. I was given professional advice by Ben on the best seat for my requirements. He also told me how to fit it which was a bonus. Ben obtained the seat and brought it to the checkout and also offered to take it to my car for me . At the checkout, David served me and was professional and courteous.
I was really pleased with the service that I received and the courteous staff that helped me. Will definitely visit again.
What a difference a day makes. Went back to get some help to fit the seat and was told that I would have to book a slot. The earliest is next Thursday! If I had bought a bulb or wipers, I could have them fitted for a small cost but for a £120 car seat no luck. Have got a refund and a real disappointment at the service. Can't even say they were busy. I feel very let down on after service.
Went back today and purchased an easy to fit seat. Served by a really nice lady with the seat and Dave at the checkout. I have fitted the seat easily and can't wait to put my great niece in it later.

Had both of my tires re-slimed on my e-bike, didn’t need to book it in. Done very quickly and efficiently, staff rang me to let me know when it was ready. The staff in the Taunton store were really friendly and helpful. They even gave it a free check over for me to see if the bike required a service but everything was okay 👍🏻 It was only £24 which I thought was fantastic value!

Amazing service, were served first by a very helpfull young lady who asked all the relevant questions about a bike rack. Then steered me toward Laura on the order station who could not have been more helpful. Top marks for a company that for many years didn't seem to have very well motivated or helpfull staff, amazing turnaround I hope it continues.

Both David on the till and Joe who replaced my headlight bulb were both very helpful and answered any questions I asked
At the age of 84 I found that they were both understanding and helpful

I was served by David today at Taunton.
He was so very helpful in checking the validity of gift vouchers I had, and explaining the process regarding the Battery Charger purchased. Great service indeed.

David and Josh from the Taunton branch were excellent. The brake light had failed on my car, but they had me fixed and moving again within 10 minutes. Very knowledgeable, and efficient. Thanks lads!

I met a gentleman here, today. My problem was a small one when I approached a staff member who was just finishing a job for someone else.
Without a break he "took me on.". He identified the part I needed, brought it to the car and because my arthritis prevented my fitting it myself, made a difficult wriggle job look easy and did it for me.
He even took steps to speed my passage through the till queue, which I know was for my benefit, none other.
I am glad that I met such a gentleman today, a good ambassador for Halfords. I regret I didn't ask his name but you will know him when you find him. Halfords! -- see this!

called on speck as car key told me i needed to replace battery. Charming attendant in store fixed it for me. Could not have been more helpful. A1 custormer service. Thank you
