Spartan Motor Factors (Burton)

I used to shop here quite often until last week when a trip to Motormania cost me a fortune. I parked my car in front of the shop and popped in to buy wire wheel brushes which they didn't have in stock and was told to check in the shop next door. In a week time I received my parking ticket, apparently they have they own parking warden who is watching people coming in and out the shop and works on they behalf. If you left the shop you're not longer their customer and will be fined if you want to visit shop nearby. Be aware to keep your receipt or simply avoid this place!

Be careful, you can get fine going to this shop.
Went there to buy some tools. Got out of the shop and went for a bottle of water to the shop next to it (5 mins maximum). Week later I've got £60 fine to pay for "abused patron parking". I was only 1 car on this car park.
Looks like fines are additional shop income.

Been trying to find a half-decent match for an obscure paint code for some time. The guys here (Lichfield branch) mixed it for me in 10 minutes. Got home and checked the match and it is absolutely spot on. Saw several customers come in while I was waiting and their service seems consistently helpful and friendly.

Very misleading signage claiming free fitting of bulbs. Staff seem almost proud to point out that the sign says "subject to staff availability".
Three members of staff available, but they wouldn't do it. I was told that this is not a service offered.
So their sign is lying.
Avoid these con men.

It could be argued that Euro parts is cheaper, but after they've given you the wrong part and you've had to take it back is it? Spartan have always sorted the correct spares for me, the lads are really helpful.
