Halfords - Ayr

Good range of products and reasonably priced. Bought a bike pump/2x lights/chain variety pack for £15 which I'm very happy with.

Staff were polite and quick, experience too all of about 10 minutes

Ordered car seat covers and they cancelled my order after a 4 day wait. Ordered the same ones again that day and delivered 2 days later but they cost £2 extra each.
Also went on live chat to ensure colour was grey and was told yes . Surprisingly when they arrived they were navy ??

Took my grandweans old bike in to get it checked out by Amanda but sadly not cost affected so went to to a recycle scheme ( no pun intended) so someone will get the benefit of it. Got some money for it and will go towards a new one. Thanks to Amanda I'll certainly be recommending Halfords to everyone.

The product itself and the fitting were great. Guy in the store got it done in under 15 minutes which was excellent. However the whole online ordering experience was extremely poor. Don't waste your time with the 'chat bot' it's absolute gak. If you're picking up from the store they expect you to know that it's available immediately, even though the tracking stays stuck at 'Finding your items'. Next time I'll just bypass the website and buy in store.

I took my bike into Martin, bicycle mechanic, at Halfords Ayr and immediately he identified the problem and offered a next-day solution. He took time to explain what was involved and was completely supportive as well as being friendly the whole time. Issue was fixed promptly by him with an explanation of what had been done. Excellent. 10/10.

I bought a Dash Cam, and paid for the hard wire kit, and arranged a time slot at Ayr to have it fitted. The Halfords people were excellent, and very customer focused, and even did a courtesy tyre pressure check for me after the dash cam was fitted - excellent customer service!

Needed the tyre pressure checked and anti freeze topped up. Philip did an excellent job. All done efficiently without any delays.
