Defender upgrades - Land Rover Specialist

Orders parts a week ago after they confirmed they had stock, turns out they didn't have stock when they said they did and the order wasn't in transit like they said it was. Rang on two separate occasions and second time asked for tracking number which I never got.

Spoke to Alisport who were sending it directly and they were on a three week back order and Defender upgrades hadn't even contacted them about the order. I ended up doing their job for them, as they "couldn't be bothered with the hassle". got refunded after abrupt phone call trying to excuse themselves.

Absolute joke.

Don't waste your time, go elsewhere.

Stay away from this page. The owner Gareth is very irresponsible. He sent me wrong parts and after that he was constantly lying about sending the correct ones. After a while he just disappeared. Not answering emails, phone calls or SMS. Don't order from this online store. It was a really bad idea from me. Gareth is a liar and very uncompetitive businessman.

BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE
Does not ship all the items ordered. Does not respond to email. Only way to contact is messenger. Promises refund, but does not refund at all. Still waiting for a refund after half a year.
I will update this review if I ever get a refund.

Utterly terrible experience from start to finish. No interest in any sort of customer service in any form. AVOID!!

Wouldn’t recommend. Issues with purchase. Very difficult to get communication back from, always had to chase numerous times for a response. Did get a refund after 3 months but poor service level. Buy elsewhere

I actually got a few things from them and they came the day later. Good service and good website design!

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!
The order was shipped several weeks late without notification the items were actually out of stock or an estimated delivery date. I returned one of the items because it was too late arriving.
No refund arrived for around a month so I then chased and continue chasing my refund for a further 2 months.
I had to send proof the return arrived with them and it then took Gareth days to confirm he did actually receive the retuned items claiming they arrived at his home!
I then sent numerous emails chasing the refund which I was told would be processed and only when I threatened them with legal action several weeks later did they process the refund immediately.

My experience is in line with all of the other reviews. He attempts to sell stock he doesn't have without notifying you until you chase him. Small silver lining was that in my case after a few strong emails a refund was provided. I'd save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere
