Bought every bike I've owned the part 10 years from here and never disappointed, fantastic service by the bike team upstairs and quick service. Grabbed a bike for christmas and managed to have a chain replaced and hydraulics fitted within 10-30minutes.

It was gone 7.30pm and my main bulb light had gone. As I was travelling to Bristol at midnight needed it repaired asap. Rang and asked if we could have it fixed. No probs was reply. Lady on till was really helpful and her customer service was perfect. Stephen who changed the bulbs was also excellent helpful and had a pleasant friendly manner. All in all excellent service from start to finish.

The store was quiet, and the staff very helpful. I was able to order vehicle-specific mats quickly, and received a courteous phone call to let me know when they were available for collection. I usually find Halfords helpful generally, and like that there are usually female assistants to speak to.

When ordering the bikes we had no end of trouble trying to pay.after getting this resolved we were sent an email saying there was an issue with our order reference..we received a courtesy call from the store during which we were told that upon collection we would also have our bike rack fitted which was ordered at the same time.picking our actual bikes up was simple enough but when we went to collect we were told they had no record of the fitting appointment despite the email confirmation we had.

The service was poor and put a huge blot on what was a fairly expensive purchase and should have been an exciting collection.

The staff are very attentive to one's needs. They are welcoming. In the current situation, the store provide all the protection required to be safe. The store is well laid out. There is enough space between the aisles. The number of people in the store at any one time is monitored.
The store offers personal fitting services for those who require it at a very reasonable cost. If a product cannot be found in stock, it can be ordered for the customer.

Very happy with the service. We are new to the cycling scene but Sean made our purchase easy and simple. He was very knowledgeable and thorough. He answered every question we had with ease. We look forward to having more dealings with you soon

Went in for a bit of information on dashcams. Steve ended up spending some time explaining to me all the differences and offered a fitting service. I left a very happy customer with a superb couple of products fitted that fit my needs perfectly. Would highly reccomend to anyone

I had my MOT done at Halfords on 6th December. The usual price is £54.85 but I paid £39.85 due to a Halfords 15% discount offer. The booking process was quite easy. I was expecting a sales pitch for "free" winter checks but that did not happen. I was pleasantly suprised with a free £20 voucher, with no minimum spend, a few days later. I ordered some rechargeable batteries with the voucher to be picked up at my local Halfords. The morning of the day I was due to pick up the order I was informed that most of what I ordered was not in stock. This should have been flagged up when I placed the order. The person who rang me gave me the option of cancelling the order. I asked if the £20 voucher was available for a future order and was told yes and so I cancelled the order. When I tried to place another order, for something else, the voucher code would not work because it had already been used. To cut a long story short I eventually got some windscreen wash for £2, usual price £12.00 with a £10 voucher I received after contacting Halfords by web chat.
The Halfords website is not easy to navigate for something you want to buy. It has the same problem that Screwfix, DIY stores, Amazon etc. have, thousands of items for sale needing an easy way to navigate to the exact item you want. The Halfords website needs improving. I will use them again for my next MOT but will go to the store if I need parts for my car.
As an example of what needs improving with the Halfords website, when I log into my account, I get a reminder that my MOT is overdue. Surely they should record that I have had a recent MOT with them and then send me a renewal reminder a month before my next MOT.
