Halfords - Llanelli

Everything was fine until the rear camera was unable to be fitted without the wires showing which isn't satisfactory. I have however been given the option, by the fitter, of going back to have it refitted if I can find a way into the rear door access points.

The camera was moved from the top of the rear window to the bottom, which is fine on a Range Rover, and is now no longer distracting the driver’s rear view when using the mirror. I am very happy with the outcome and Halfords service standards.

Great service at Llanelli branch today. The customer support assistant was very helpful, polite and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend them for support with car products, fitting and car checks.

Absolute waste of time is about all I can say about this store and staff. They use to be able to advise you about virtually anything in store but now days they can't even perform a refund.
After buying a product and opting to purchae a recommended product on their site, the two items affived and the optional case didn't fit. Tried to return the item to the store as it says you can online and the staff couldn't work out how to do a refund! 3 staff incapable of performing a simple refund.
My next visit involved preordering coolant for my vehicle and when I arrived the cash register guy asked for ID for challenge 25 for organic coolant?! I'm nearly 40 mind and nowhere on the site did it say about ID to collect. I told him to cancel the order as I hadn't brought anything, I can pretty much guarantee I won't get the money back as it'll involve a refund which I already know he is incapable of doing.
I won't ever bother with this store again, just a constant let down.

Went in first thing on the morning of 12th December 22. I was served by a lovely guy with a beard - one of the older people working there. I only bring this up as his experience is missed in big chains like Halfords. When I took the product I wanted to buy to the checkout (bulbs), he immediately noticed it might not be the best choice for me. He then explained why not, and helped me find the correct product. He didn't have to ask me - he could have just served me like most people would have. This experience stood out to me as it's not something I've experienced for a very long time in modern shops. That man is worth his weight in gold to Halfords' Llanelli. Totally changed my opinion of the shop in a good way👍

Went the other day for a number plate, was told my Driving Licence and photo of V5C wasn't proof enough for the number to be printed but if I come back with the document then they can fit the plate for me after being given the spiel how the guy had worked there for 15 years and this has always been the procedure.

So went home, grabbed the relevant documents asked for the plate and fitting and was told they can't fit the plate now, so 15 years of experience was meaningless and the whole time I was being told, bluntly, that they can't fit it as they're not skilled enough as an existing plate wasn't present to marry up the holes. The guy who told me it could be fitted and explained how was stacking shelves right by the tills and ignoring the whole conversation... pathetic.

We visited the store today 16/01/23 to look for cleaning products for our cars and we were approached by a friendly man called David who was very helpful and knowledgeable. He signed us up with the motoring club which he explained fully which we appreciated.

I visited halfords llanelli 20/12/22 to pick up a my internet ordered item, waiting by the counter the assistant said to me YEAH. i said is that the way to talk to a customer to which he did not reply,he gave me order which i replyed thank you and left .

Needed indicator checking before leaving for Bristol, was told a good 20/30 minutes wait, which I didn’t have, so they managed to squeeze me in straight away, very grateful and he did my indictor and fond the fault, very good service they both were very kind, Pemberton park Llanelli thank you
