Halfords - Brynmawr

Excellent service, brought my e-bike in for a health check due to having a problem with it, and the guy found the fault straight away and replaced my chain very fast, reasonable prices . I would use this store again for any problems my bike is good as new 😁

Placed an Order for a set of torx star spanner’s, item was in stock and it says pick up in an hour,two hours later and still no text or email so took a chance and drove to the store to collect my item. Spanner’s were great which is more than I can say for the service.

I was sold wind screen wipers that were not the proper ones for my car ,they were awful I was charged £29 for them they screeched on my windscreen, and were the wrong size. I had proper ones fitted at motor care £22 and they are brilliant. I was told the wipers from Halfords are cheap tac, I wont go there again .

Fast and efficient, asked a lady who i think was in charge,for what i wanted and within 30 seconds told me exactly what i needed and what the cost would be, been in the brynmawr branch a few times and she's always spot on fairplay. 👍

Halford is located in Brynmawr Retail Park with plenty of parking and a couple of dedicated spaces at the front of the store where staff conduct fitting replacement purchases such as car headlamp bulbs etc. There is a good selection in store from bicycles for all budgets and abilities, to spray paints, stereos, security products etc At the information desk staff can locate matching products for your vehicle when you provide your car registration this is useful if you are not sure what replacement item is required. Staff are all pleasant, professional and helpful. The store is wheelchair accessible. There are no toilets in Halfords but the large supermarket opposite has toilets.

Dropped in to have my headlamp bulbs replaced, had a free tyre and wiper check. Pleasant staff and a good service as always.

Well all started well as ordered a new dash cam package as an Xmas present.
Picked up the following day as could not be fitted until 2nd January.
Went to wrap in the evening and noticed there were fingerprints on the seal, opened box to find memory card was open with card missing (only the adapter left) but even worse was the camera had been replaced with a 2nd hand one that was not even the same model.
There was a memory card in the camera which showed the last time it recorded was when the driver who had originally owned it drove from his house to this store 2 weeks prior.
Sent a complaint to customer service on the Sunday evening but they didn’t get back to me so phoned them on the Monday. Spent an hour while they went back and forth store etc to find out what had happened as they did not seem to understand that I had watched all the video files on the camera so knew everything emanates from this store. Was asked to pick a replacement up and manger would have a word on what may have happened?
On picking replacement up guys on till said they couldn’t understand how it happened as they don’t open them, again ignored when I pointed out the camera in the box showed it last recorded right outside the window behind them.

So perhaps everyone in this store is trying to rip their customers off?

Just a quick update, just spoke to customer services who said store confirmed when I picked replacement up last night 8th November the store handed me a gift card as an apology! Well has this didn’t happen now I know this store is totally corrupt
