Budget Exhausts & Tyres

We took our car in after having what I can only describe as a 'cannibalised' job done to the exhaust at another place as it was still blowing and our faith in the other so called 'mechanic' was non existent after two bad experiences.

We arrived about 14.30 the car was on the ramp immediately and I mean immediately! Both Eddie and his college were under the car establishing the problem within literally 2 mins of us arriving.

I was shown exactly where the problem was and what needed to be done to rectify it, Eddy was straight on the phone ordering the part for delivery so they could crack on. It felt like a professional consultation and that in its self is worth its weight in gold!

Within the hour the part had arrived and we had no sooner got home and I had the ' dreaded' call "right it's all sorted you can come and collect it" that was at 16.24 I was amazed as from my previous experience the call usually goes something along the lines of "Hi pall I'm sorry it's bad news" I was amazed how prompt the job was done and to such a high standard.

On collection Eddie showed us the work he had carried out on the car and explained that the part came with a 2 year warranty so if we had any problems not to hesitate to take it straight back and it would be looked at immediately. I'm 100% confident in his workmanship and know for sure there will be no need to take the car back to correct any work Eddie has carried out on the car.

Im over the moon we have found a mechanic we can trust, who is not a con artist or a ripoff merchant, we will be sticking with Eddie at Bud-Jet without question.

I also mentioned the spray jets for the windscreen had become faulty and he kindly sorted them fixing a damaged water pipe and unblocking the spray jets as an added extra which we very much appreciate.

This is the first review I have ever left online and have done so because I want people to know if your looking for a fairly priced, professional service look no further!!.......or look if you like but you will certainly not find any service as good as Eddies!

Phoned here last week as needed 4 new tyres on my vehicle. I needed a specific make/style and didn’t really know what but they were helpful and gave me a choice of several Bridgestone tyres to choose from. I made my decision on the tyre I wanted and they ordered them in for next day delivery and had them fitted and my car back to me within hours. Speedy service and helpful staff! 👍🏼

Called up for a quote for two new tyres, and saw me the same day (Sunday)
Done within an hour, service with a smile, lovely bunch of lads.

I tried Buget following a recommendation. However, after being given a price for an exhaust replacing, an hour and a half later I had a phone call to say it would cost me £50 more for an exhaust that fit the car. I wasn't given much option as the old exhaust had been removed. After a further conversation, I think a new piece was welded to my old exhaust and that was put back on. This was all for £30 less than the first price quoted, which seemed expensive for most of my old exhaust back and I've been told it will only last about six months.

Great price, great job and great staff who spent a few minutes chatting to the 5 year old with me who had a million and one questions!! Even fastened the spare back in place for me. Best price.... don't bother trying elsewhere🙃ty

It used to be a good business but not anymore.
Saying I needed new break pads as mine were too big, then I later found a receipt of new brake pads fitted by ex owner recently.
