Do NOT use this garage !!!
I took my 55 beetle here as there was a bit of noise from the rear brake. I had already had new discs and pads somewhere else but took if to Kartechnic to advise me on the noise on reversing and slight scuffing noise intermittently.
They quoted me more than £ 600 on the phone for 2 new rear callipers. I said no and when I went to get the car they dropped the price to £385 saying they didn't have to use a particular make of callipers . I said no to this I was charged £60 just for inspection.
They obviously adjust the price to suit how much they think they can get out of you.
I went to a reputable mobile mechanic today locally ,who adjusted the brake cable and applied copperslip and charged me £42, the brake now has no noise.
I am disgusted they tried to rip me off and I imagine if you are elderly or female you will get similar [I was married to a mechanic for 31 years -can be handy!]
They are practiced liars so beware and go elsewhere!!!!

Inspected and diagnosed a problem with my BMW 530i at very short notice. Demonstrated great technical knowledge and experience whilst giving excellent customer service! Would recommend to anyone!

Don't normally write reviews, but I was very impressed with their service. I went in for tyres through Black Circles and I was seen promptly. They also perfomed a winter and brake check free of charge (including topping up wiper fluid and testing the brake fluid). I had a check engine light too that they also checked, and diagnosed what was causing it. They also pointed out that a CV boot was split.

I can’t recommend Kartechnic Christchurch enough. My E81 130i went in with a rough idle which was soon to be discovered as a broken large Disa Valve. Ryan who looked after my car was excellent throughout the whole process. Extremely professional and helpful throughout the whole process. Ryan went above and beyond throughout explaining each step that they were taking to me in detail whilst ensuring the engine was cleaned and sending me photos of the work being carried out. Jason and Jon the other guys I spoke to at Kartechnic were equally as pleasant to deal with. This is without a doubt the best garage experience I’ve ever had. Proper car guys doing a proper job. Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning.

Highly recommend this company john was tenacious & knowledgable. The issue with my husbands Audi A5 was fixed & a courtesy car given everytime he was without a vehicle.

Kartechnic in Christchurch were Superb when I had a Gear shift problem with my Passat. I purchased the car from Carbase in Weston-Super-Mare who told me to take the problem to a specialist.
