I had a puncture after going through a pot hole
and the tyre needed replacing. They were able to come out and replace it on the side of the road which was very convenient. The staff are friendly and make for a lovely local garage.

I came to Havant for a meeting having driven in last night a 100 miles away. I panicked as I heard a faint rattling noise coming from the underside while parking at the hotel and thinking my silencer might have come loose. So I showed up at Solent Motors at 8am asking if they could have a look at my car while I had my meeting. The mechanic was very courteous and although very busy said that he will make time and put the car on lift and have a good look. I got a call a few hours later confirming there was nothing wrong and they had a good look and also did a test drive to be sure.
Thank you for your help and hospitality for inspecting my car without charging me a single penny! A very Happy New Year to the team at Solent Motors !!!

I have used Solent many times and for good reason. Its so hard to find someone you can trust these days so when you do find them you keep them. 100% recommended. Charged the full service less than what other garages were charging for one job. Had my injector done, MOT,, tyres and a sensor. Passed the MOT, definitely going to be a garage for life!

Today I had the misfortune of getting a rather large hole in the side wall of my van tyre. I limped along the Eastern Road to a lay-by and gathered my thoughts on how to resolve this situation. After a Google I found Solent Motor Services (SMS) who had a mobile tyre replacement service. After sharing my predicament with the SMS office person I was informed that they could get me going again but I would have to wait. After 75 minutes or so Sam arrived to carry out the tyre replacement. Sam was friendly, professional and his happiness was infectious no sooner had her arrived my van was jacked up and the wheel was off and undergoing removal from the rim in the back of the mobile workshop. The tire was quickly replaced balanced and back on the van so I could carry on with my day. I would have no hesitation in calling SMS again for my vehicle needs. If all the staff are like Sam then you would fool to go anywhere else. The invoice included the call out, tyre and fitting and I thought was very reasonable to say the least.
