I test drove a £18K BMW X5 and was asked to leave a deposit of £10. When I said I wanted to think about it, which I think is reasonable before parting with £18K they refused to repay my £10 and said EVERY test drive cost £10 and was only refunded if you bought the car. A rip off. Stay well away., They lost an £18K sale as I would not purchase now on principal. How much money are they making just on test drives?!!!

Couldn't have asked for better car buying experience. Everything from the advert in autotrader which was excellent with good clear pictures and detailed description to pre-delivery checks before handing me the keys was exceptional. The site is nice and tidy with polite owners and staff and an amazingly tidy and professional workshop.
The cars are well maintained, clean and easy to inspect. We were given plenty of time to inspect the vehicle and to test drive it. The lady we dealt with was extremely polite and helpful. We received their full attention, she answered all our questions and a couple of concerns we raised about the vehicle were addressed straight away.
The coffee was excellent and even the kids were offered sweets. I had a minor issue with the car's Satnav and Maxprime did their best to resolve this matter for me within a day at no additional cost. This is exceptional service considering they had already sold the car. They also offered their help to remove the stereo as I wanted to know the serial number (Ford was quoting me half and hours labour for this service)
I would highly recommend Maxprime to anyone looking for a good car and will definitely use them for any servicing or repairs.

WORST EXPERIENCE - So after purchasing a car, i got told it only comes with one key, I then drove away to find the brakes were binding so i had to take it straight back as they agreed to fix it. Now a week later i picked it back up and after getting home i found a heavy leak of brake fluid dripping by the brake they'd 'fixed'. I called RAC out and they took off the wheel to find they had stuck on the same badly burnt black pad and disc from when it was binding, the caliper bolts were completely rounded off, cables wernt put back into the slots and banjo bolt was lose, I was told the car was really dangerous and illegal to drive and the work they had carried out was horrific, i refused to pay £200 to get it on a trailer and take it back to them and even if they did pick it up (which they wouldnt) i wouldnt allow them near the car again, so i got it fixed at a local garage. A couple weeks on and i found the headlamp was actually broken at the holding points and they'd done a quick cheap job to fix it by putting some minor padding around the broken parts. In addition, i also started to hear odd clicking noises coming from the rear wheel, however the main issue was when the DSG gearbox decided to fail so i got the RAC out again and they ran diagnostics to find that there was also cylinders misfiring along with a faulty climate control and radio antenna. I asked for a refund on the car as it was clearly a dud and of which they turned around and said no chance, "you dont have a legal leg to stand on", so i called the finance company and got a full refund, well done Maxprime.

Ok bear with me, I part exchanged my much love but uneconomical car for a more economical diesel.
I did the deal and 3 days later I had to take the car back with a faulty gearbox, was given a courtesy car and off I went, 10 days later I get my car back, with a new gear box and cam belt and water pump, only now the headlight is faulty so back it goes, again my old friend the courtesy car and off I go, I get the car back the same day this time only when I get it home the injector is leaking air sooo back I go again with the courtesy car, fixed the same day along with the rear windscreen wiper.
Now, this may sound like a bad review but it's not, the car I got was itself a part exchange, they had no Idea of the faults which the car threw up and in an extremely professional manor dealt with every issue without question.
I would not hesitate in recommending this garage to anyone at all, i will In fact use them to service my car and mot it, I feel that anyone can buy any car from them with complete confidence, you may get a faultless car and drive into the sunset and enjoy endless motoring bliss or, perhaps be unlucky like my self and have a car packed with faults but have them dealt with easily and efficiently.

DO NOT EVER USE. They blackmailed and pressured my wife in paying them. My wife had to write paid under protest on bill. To say I’m unhappy is an understatement. I am fuming. They added £550 to my service without calling to authorise any work. To make it worse, the work 100% didn’t need doing. My vehicle had just left the Harwoods LandRover dealership the week before and been checked professionally by them so I knew exactly what was required. Just a few filters changed. Do not use these people for MOT or Servicing. Diego, the owner is exactly why this industry has a bad reputation. He told me he wouldn't put my existing parts back on the car and that I had to pay for his parts or the car was staying with him... PLEASE DO NOT EVER USE.

This is like a joke of a company, would not recommend it to my enemies. They look friendly and helpful when you want to buy something, but once it's yours, then you have to deal with it. They actually sold us a car that was supposed to be fully serviced, then we had tons of problems with it with the turbo, cooling liquid, oil, gaskets, tire sensors. We used to go get it fixed every 2 weeks. And when the turbo failed, they kept it for a month to get it fixed. Then the DPF started acting funny, so there is a chance that will break soon. They will try to sell you a warranty that doesn't help at all. They once said that the errors on the computer might come from an electronic storm, I still believe that was just a joke.

Travelled 40 miles all the way from central london after a friendly phonecall from Tom. On the phone call we agreed to £100 fitting additional cost on a vw. I arrived at the dealer not being greeted and saw the car i wanted with little scratches and bodymarks, seeing this i knocked at the door and met someone else not tom so i wanted to negotiate however ‘the boss ‘ was rudely stubborn. I asked him about fitting in the additional cost and he told me it will be £200 not £100 and there will be an extra cost of admin for £200! Closely evaluating the car i realised iv been catfished online and i left the dealer. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!

Con artists of the century, act like they know what they talking about but really they don't, will say and do anything for abit of commission even if it means you need a new engine a month later, dodgy mots are done just up The road and when your vehicle does fail they will refuse to assist you any further, they will argue its fit for purpose under consumer rights but does it last a reasonable length of time is also part of that same law.. so when my engine snapped its chain 3k miles after it was apparently serviced and motd its clear things were dodgy. No wonder they wanted me in and out so quick and had the car warmed up ready and waiting. The day after collection and the service there weren't even any oil in the thing. Stay well away
