I'd lost use of all gears except for 2nd! I was recommended Evans Motors by a friend, I'm new to the area and rely on recommendations. I was told that the staff were great and that Kelly explains all work carried out in a thorough and understandable way. When I did call, Kelly was incredibly helpful and said that she could fit me in straight away! Once I'd got the van to the garage and they did their checks, Kelly called to explain exactly what the problem was and how they would resolve the problem. Kelly went out of her way to collect a part that was needed to compete the job. Kelly has a genuine and unique caring nature for each of her customers. The mechanics were great too and gave some useful advice.

Evans Motors fitted us in at the last minute when my partners van broke down and was desperately needed by Monday. Kelly was so understanding and told us to take it in straight away for the team to take a look. Two hours later it was back on the road at a very reasonable cost! Can’t recommend enough.

Friendly garage which doesn't set out to intimidate its customers. Dealt with Mike in the garage and Kelly on the phone, both really helpful. Service and MOT went fine, a couple of rear springs required which I hadnt bargained for but they had some in stock so were able to sort out on the same day which was good. Just realised I didn't get a breakdown of exactly what the service covered e.g x litres of brand y oil added but no issue. Would recommend and would return for sure.

A little addition - had an issue with my wife's Car Evans Motors really went above and beyond to diagnose and repair a fault which turned out to be a nightmare job - you really cannot fault this level of customer service - please support this fantastic team.

Just had a new clutch fitted on my son's Fiesta and have to say was absolute pleasure dealing with Kelly, 1st class service and incredibly reactive to our situation, let's be honest an 18 year old with no car is a headache no parent wants!

Mike was very helpful from the start and considering we only dropped it in yesterday they had it all sorted in less than 24hrs no hassle great price...

Took our car into Evans today for a free diagnostic check and Winter inspection, the test was done quickly in a very friendly manner. We thought we may have EPC issues but the car was given a clean bill of health with just a couple of issues pointed out for future repair. This garage is very honest and well worth visiting.

Great service from Kelly and the Evans team. I had a brake problem over the Christmas period and they managed to book me in at short notice and turned the car around in a couple of days. They are polite, friendly, offer advice on how to ensure the issue does not return and all at a reasonable price. Would highly recommend!

Great garage and staff. My parents drove to Colchester for the holidays and had a car emergency which required a quick diagnostic and repair so they could leave on time later. We phone a few garages that were fully booked/ closed or couldn’t help until I phoned Evans motor and the owner Kelly was so helpful and kind. She pointed us to BRB repairs since the two garages are linked and Max there was absolutely brilliant. He quickly found out what was wrong and repaired everything fast. Super kind and professional. 100% recommend.
