Probably as the name suggests best around for gearbox work, had a gearbox flush done here which made a good difference that I instantly felt

Lost a star due to their location, leaving and having to reverse and navigate from their workshop past a few other businesses/workshops with their own cars is not fun

Took my defender 90 to Martin and his team for it’s annual service MOT, bolting various bits back on or taking unwanted bits off. His service is fantastic and their knowledge of how to keep this old bus purring is essential to keeping a defender in tip top condition. Highly recommend👍

Booked my car in for a transmission fluid service, they were recommended by several other owners. They did an excellent job, were very helpful and friendly. I came quite a distance and rented a van from Enterprise Car and Van Rental around the corner, overnight. Would definitely recommend.

Martin and team carried out a preventative flush and filter change on my Discovery 4 a few months ago. In that time I’ve had no issues and the transmission was a tad bit smoother. (There wasn’t anything major wrong with it prior. This was just preventative work)

They are a friendly team and seem to be very knowledgeable in their field (as you’d expect). This garage will now be my regular go to for servicing and any other problems on my Land Rover Discovery.

ever so friendly and helpful , don't talk to you in mechanical jargon. They don't rip you off on prices either and go above and beyond to solve any issue for you.

Needed an emergency once look over and issue didn't turn out to be as bad as what it could have been so they didn't just take my money to do what ever.

Honestly will only use this garage now tbh .

I can write a long story for my experience about my Ford Focus 2013, zetec, power shift, 1.6. I bought it in March 2018 from a Trust Ford garage in West London. I had a small drive to test the car, then paid money to the garage, then the sale told me they will get the clean, I felt weird as the car was as clean as a new car. After 15 minutes, the car was sent back to me, then I drove away to home, however after 50 meters driving, the fuel tank went to 0, I had to find a garage for petrol. I realized they said 'clean', actually to empty the fuel tank, but I traded my car in with a half tank of petrol!
After about one month driving, the car battery failed to work, I had to call rescue service, and replaced a new battery at a Morrisons' car park with AA or RAC (forgot).
I bought this car in March, so I did not check Air conditioning, when summer arrived, I found out the A/C was not working at all. I had to get new coolant sorted with a Trust Ford garage in Gillingham.
In September 2022, the reverse gear failed to work. Trust Ford seems disappeared, and they go to SMC Ford. I drove to a Ford garage and asked me £210 for diagnosis to work out the problem between wiring or gear box, and asked me a huge amount of money to get the gear box replaced. I called a few garages to see any one cheaper, I got one quote from a garage in London, it sounds promising, however I realized why I have not searched any transmission specialist locally, then I searched google for Transmission repair near me. The first one came up was Dartford Transmission & Autocare, I rang them and a lady answered the phone, it sounded Trust, but I was not sure about their 'estimated quote', I emailed them my diagnosis report from the Ford garage, the Managing Director Martin responded my email in the evening, he said , he thought the issue was TCM but whole gear box after reading the report. I can feel Trust and Honest from his email, in the meantime I read all reviews about them on google and their Facebook page, I decided to get my car done with them.
I felt I was lucky once with this Ford Focus 2013 because I found Dartford Transmission & Autocare. It was them to get my car run again. I like my car very much, but I felt I bought the car from a Trust Ford, however no Trust at all, I contacted Ford UK, but they said no recall for my car model. The mileage is only 46,700, but gear box failed already, Trust Ford took my trust away from my Ford Focus 2013.
I also asked Martin to give my car a screen check, they did not charge me for this additional work. I said I will go back this garage again if needed. Actually, I am very busy, but I feel I must write this feedback as soon as I can as it would be benefit to anybody like me to have a transmission issue with their cars. I would evaluate Dartford Transmission & Autocare as a Trust, honest, friendly and specialized garage.
I sent my car in on 1 October 2022, it said my car can be done by the following Wednesday, but the following Monday, I was informed they could not get the TCM replacement from any Ford Supply, but surprisingly I received a phone call from them on the following Thursday and said it has been done. I was so happy as the blue buses were on strike the Thursday, Friday, Monday and Tuesday. My colleague gave me a lift on Thursday morning, but I did not need any more! I would like to say a big Thank you to Dartford Transmissions & Autocare. I hope my feedback can convince you to contact Martin when you have a similar issue with your car.
