He was very honest about the costs of fixing the car to which we agreed I would sell it as it wasn't worth fixing. He was just really genuine, polite and knowledgeable. I will definitely be going back once I get my new car.

After the so called repair with OMD Autos my car was in worse condition before the repair.
Here are the details:
My car was booked and delivered to the garage on Friday 03/01/20.
The request was to be tested and to receive quote for the necessary maintenance work to be done.
The check was done and the quote received:
Changing brake disks and pads.
Changing oil and all filters.
Replacing capacitor for the fan for air conditioner
Testing engine and if necessary additional quote.
Invoice issued after secret consultation between the owner and the person at the reception and pro forma invoice issued (with no description of above mentioned operations – just quoting number meaning nothing) and payment made via Payment assist – in full)
The job was due to be finished next day - Saturday 04/01/20
And the nice part started:
On Saturday 04/01/20 the owner told me that the car was not ready and it will be ready on Monday 06/01/20.
On Monday 06/01/20 the owner told me that the car was not ready and it will be ready on Tuesday 07/01/20.
On Tuesday 0701/20 the owner told me that the car was not ready and it will be ready on Friday 10/01/20.
On Friday 10/01/20 I went to the garage and they told me that the car is ready and they suggested to replace the battery which I accepted. After replacement of the battery and when they started the engine the engine started producing strange noise and the owner suggested to leave the car again for additional check and next day he told me that there is valve which needs to be replaced and additional significant cost and he also told to me that for this additional cost they cannot issue invoice for additional financing from Payment assist (which appeared not to be true) and I have to pay it straight to the garage which I did.
On Monday 13/01/2020 he told me that he has not been able to discover the problem with the engine yet.
On Tuesday 14/01/20 I talked with his assistant who told me that the problem has not been solved yet and I decided to wait no more.
I went to the garage same day – the owner told me that the car is OK and when I started the engine the light for engine check turned on.
Only then they decided to make computer test and the indication was the there may be problem with the spark lights or maybe there will be a need a cylinder to be replaced and I have to bring the car on Friday 17/01/20.
When I started driving the car after few minutes the brakes started producing awful noise and when I told this to the owner he sad sorry –maybe the supplier is to blame and he said that he is ready to do additional check and if necessary replace pads or discs.
On the next day when I started the engine the car started producing the same noise – meaning problem not solved
Considering the all above mentioned circumstances I went in the garage on Friday 17/01/20 and told the owner that I consider the job done with very bad quality and competence and that I do not trust his and entire garage competence for which reason I will not leave the car any more there and after inspection with another garage I will notify him for any claim which may arise due to his incompetent and irresponsible way of provided services.
I have enough evidence for the above statement which I prefer not to sare in case we bring the matter to court

I booked it and dropped off the car Adrian took me to the office and did the formally.
Car failed MOT. I walked back to talk about the repairs and what to approve. To save me time and before knowing what I would approve it ordered all the parts. Once approved he got one of his guys to get the car ready to just install the new parts.
Car was ready for collection by 2pm. Thus garage is so professional and great customer service. I have a VW Touran due its MOT in 2 weeks time. Guess where I am taking it. Well done team OMD Autos. You made my trip there painless and easy.

It’s not going to make any difference now, if I call you. When you damaged the coolant pipe, you guys just could’ve replace it, rather than me taking the car, and then returning the car back, after breaking down.
