After being messed about with previous car garages, Vehicle Tech are a breath of fresh air.
Expert advice and also always kept me well informed of progress.
Carried out full service and diagnostics and sorted my car without fuss.
costs more than reasonable and really approachable work force .
Highly recommended. all my family vehicles will be using Vehicle Tech in future.

I'm not happy at all! Before my car went to this garage I had the coil pack and spark plugs changed, and changed out number 2 fuel injector to try and fix my misfire, the wires were undamaged because I was careful. My Corsa went in for a diagnosis and was told that the problem was a faulty fuel injector and would cost £350 to change 1 Injector which I said no to. I ordered 4 new genuine bosch ones at £130 . To my horror when I went to change them over I see my fuel injector wiring has been damaged on number 3 and bare wire was exposed. The wiring was not like this before because I took pictures that prove it. Whoever left it in that state knows full well it will cause future problems because the wire will start to corrode and will cause another misfire. After changing all 4 Injectors with brand new ones the misfire STILL REMAINS. I got charged £100 for a incorrect diagnosis and ripped wiring. They said it was 100% the injector because they tested it. The reason the wiring has been damaged is because someone was to lazy to remove the throttle body and protective foam so just bent everything back. I would have thought you would have also done a compression and leak down test to make sure. My car is still broke :(

Our first visit with our car and extremely satisfied with service and price. Replacement of windscreen wiper mechanism sourced and fitted within the day, getting our car speedily back on the road. Super staff. Couldn't be happier. Thank you!

My vehicle was misfiring so I called the AA out. The AA patrol man recommended this garage. I had never heard of them and trusted the recommendation. I left the car with them. They called and said the spark plugs & leads should be replaced and it would cost £200. I agreed to this.

I was having a family emergency at the time & helping with family childcare, so I missed a call from the garage. When I next spoke to them, they said they had done the work plus an additional piece of work-replacing the coils. They then told me it would now cost £311. When I expressed my understandable outrage that they had carried out work and added a considerable cost on without my consent, the person who I was speaking to was rude and blamed it on me not answering my phone. Instead of taking responsibility and respecting my rights as a customer.

This was not the end of the issues with them. They took a look at my heater which wasn’t working, which I requested. They didn’t say it would cost anything or what the cost would be. They then added another £50 on for looking at this other issue -again without seeking my consent first.

I spoke to trading standards and they agreed that they breached 2 regulations and advised me to put it in writing which I did by email.

The garage completely dismissed what I said and seemed to lack the ability to understand the content of the email. They responded by saying they could take the coils out to reduce the bill back to the original quote. I responded by saying although I was unhappy with their conduct, undoing work already done was a waste of everyone’s time & counter productive, so I asked them to leave it as it was and that I would pay it and collect the car the next day.

When I went to collect my car, I was informed that they took the coils out ‘because I refused to pay the £311’. Which was untrue. My dispute was that work was carried out against my consent. By removing the coils without my permission was an act of pettiness.

When I showed them the email Jane the woman who spoke to me, was defensive, unprofessional and dismissive. She refused to listen and argued against it all without listening to my concerns.

I had to take the car to another (more reputable) garage to re-do the coils so I had to drive my car there which wasn’t really fit to drive. The other garage said they would have started with the coils first-not the sparks and leads.

My partner recently took a look and looked under the glove compartment to find that Vehicle Tech hadn’t even screwed the heating resister back on properly. They had only put one screw back in and left the rest of it hanging off. Please see the photos attached.

I am very understanding about people making honest mistakes but I would warn others against using this garage. They were unprofessional and unpleasant to deal with and it felt that they did things just to be spiteful which is not acceptable.

I’m amazed that the AA would recommend them.

Just had my little Peugeot suspension done. Excellent service from a family run business that calls you by your first name and really cares about their customers. Cannot rate this garage high enough. Excellent value for money. look forward to visiting them again for my MOT.. The cars MOT not mine, I am ready for the scrapyard..
Had my second MOT in October 2022. Lisa and crew REALLY do pull out all the stops, to help. Saucing spares from anywhere to get my old car through. NO ordinary garage, does that. 10 stars excellent service.

I have used this garage on on a number of occasions over the past year or more; on each occasion the team has been polite and welcoming, supporting my car issue/need to be resolved. They have always kept me up to date and helped explain what was needed. Vechile tech has been genuine and provided good value. I would definitely recommend. Thankyou
