I was really impressed with their service. I had a major service, as my Car has been a bit neglected over the past 2 Covid Years.
They were able to book my car in fast and the price was the same price as quoted, no extras, VAT bla bla. I was so pleased to get my car back but also the helpful, friendly service helped to relieve the stress and worry of a possible expensive breakdown.
I will 100% use this garage from now on and recommend to my family and friends too. I can strongly recommend this place.
1st visit was for just an a/c re charge and minor bits. They identify issues that other garage did not see and would have charged us overprice for.
Soon after our son had a bad experience with his car. We went back to the guys at AST who were very professional and helpful.
They advised and kept us informed all the way through of what needed to be done and try to fix it as quick as possible for a young man who desperately needed his car.
We were very pleased with the helpful, friendly service, even the receptionist kindly went out of her way to drive me home when I have forgotten my mob to call for pick up. Massive Thank you.
We will def use this garage again and will recommend to everyone we know who needed work done on their car.
Walk in to 'reception' to find a child behind the desk, waited for 10minites for AST to ring me and ask where I was!.
When the MOT was finished I proceeded to get a lecture. One I really wasn't looking for and all I wanted to do was leave.
Firstly on servicing, when I said I'd bought it 8 months ago, they went on to say I'd been mugged off by a garage as they wouldn't put money in a car they'd sell. So I'm a mug am I?.
Then went on to tell me the car had passed but brake disks were an advisory, they went on to essentially guilt trip me into getting them to replace the disks - even telling me to go onto YouTube to watch videos of cars smashing in to each other.
The bloke even went on to ask if I had 'any mechanical knowledge', admittadley he did say he had my best interests at heart. But it all came across wrong.
What is wrong with a customer walking away with a vehicle and wanting to shop around?
Customer service skills are really amiss and they need to learn how to talk to customers.
