Kris Service Car

I always say if one can complain you should be willing to say when a service is good. Having said that, today I dropped in to ask about my speedo sensor, I had initially emailed them and was told by reply to just bring it in when you can. I went in today expecting to arrange for my car to be booked in. No he simply when out to my car lifted to bonet and got straight to it, after a few minutes of struggling to get to old one he then replaced it with the new one. This took less than 20 mins, I was amazed at this service I received today and will be using Kris now for any work I might need. Not only was I surprised he did it there and then but he didn't charge the earth. Very very impressed and can easily recommend this company. Thanks Kris.

Beware-get a written quote as the price goes up after they complete the work!
As I now work in the area I thought I’d try and support local small business, for an MOT and oil and filter change. I called in and was given a verbal quote for the work requested which was reasonable and arranged a date for the work to be undertaken.
I dropped my car in on the day and received a call telling me it was ready for collection, when I arrived the price for the work had doubled from that of the original quote and there was no extra work needed for the MOT or extra materials needed. I commented to the owner about the cost compared with the quote and he shrugged it off. As the work had been done, I felt obligated to pay and also wanted to check the price I had been given, as I’d written it in my diary when booking it in.
I checked and then rang the owner to query the difference in the quote, he stated that the quote was just for the oil change and he must have misunderstood what I had said, as he has poor English. He then went on to say he doesn’t complete the MOT’s they are done at the garage next door and are paid for separately. I informed him this was disappointing and he had not been clear about the cost and I would not return as a customer, he just laughed and said ‘no problem’!

absolutely ripper. Told the labour £40 to £45 for an alternator change for my skoda octavia. I left my skoda octavia with him and then next day asked for £75. Absolutely pathetic attitude and behavior. Won't recommend him at all.....

Was recommended by family members. Took my car in for repairs, they kept me informed on what they were doing and how much it is etc. Very friendly and are good at what they do
