I have used them on a couple of occasions, both were semi-emergencies and they were happy to be flexible to get me booked in. The work was completed flawlessly and in good time and everyone I spoke to was friendly and helpful. I would have no hesitation in strongly recommending them.

My old car was taken to Newtown Car Services after my previous dealership had closed down. Excellent service all round, and I was kept well informed in terms of costs and time. I will certainly be returning with my new car, and wouldn't hesitate in recommending Newtown to friends and family.

Replaced blowing and generally knackered exhaust, re-gassed aircon, put on two new tyres and adjusted wheel toe on our car. Very pleased with the quality of work done at a sensible price. Friendly and professional staff who ‘phone to update you along the way. Would recommend.

I can't recommend Newtown Car Services enough. They endeavour to ensure I have all the facts about approximately how much a repair or service will cost and why it is required so I can decide how to proceed. The reason for this review is that they quoted £100, which I accepted, but when I went to collect my car the invoice was £60 because they took the time to find the best price they could for the part my car required. They communication is outstanding too.

Great service, managed to fit me in at shot notice ahead of the bank holiday. They diagnosed and repaired the problem really quickly. Was very grateful for their help

I asked them to investigate fumes coming into the car.
They told me all four fuel injectors were leaking. This is highly improbable because the car would struggle to start if this was the case.
They quoted me a minimum of £315 and that the engine was subject to stripping - 4 hours labour.
However they also said that there was a high probability of the injectors sticking and that a specialist would need to be called in if that was the case. I was told he charges £150 per injector.
I brought the car to another garage, and they removed 4 screws and the plastic cover and there were the fuel injectors. A leaking fuel injector makes a distinct ticking sound which they identified in less than a minute. One fuel injector was found to be leaking and they repaired it for a fraction of the price I was quoted from Newtown Car Services. They disconnected a small 10cm L-Shaped metal fuel line and removed the injector without difficulty.Fuel injectors are a common issue which garages deal with. There is special tool which is widely available for removing them, which can be seen on You Tube.The key is to make sure the engine is good and hot and rev it up.I find it hard to believe that any gargage does not have the expertise to deal with this.

I was charged £39 by NCS just to look at the car, and I had to wait the whole day to get it back. With a 'free' winter safety check included - they failed to notice that the thermostat was faulty.
I will not be returning to Newtown Car Services.
