The Volvo Workshop

The Volvo Workshop is an independent Volvo specialist garage, staffed by two friendly and knowledgeable mechanics. They are polite and very upfront about costs and timescales. The work is carried out to a high standard, and if any additional work is discovered they are open about it and do not push you to get it done by themselves.
There is plenty parking available around the workshop, which is easy to get to, but only if you know where it is in advance as it isn't signposted until you reach it.
I would highly recommend the Volvo Workshop to anyone looking for fairly priced servicing on their Volvo, both old and new and I will personally be taking my 850 T5 back to them.

Very helpful . We were visiting family when engine light came on my volvoxc60 I was in difficult situation as both myself and wife has to be on call in hospital same night. We reached at workshop @9 am hoping we may have luck. He was very polite considerate and checked fault. Which was high engine oil levels we were reassured. Most important of all didn’t charged any money.
This was so helpful and relieved the stress off my head.
I will not hesitate to recommend this garage to any one. Excellent work ethics

So I brought my car because of a noise. The issue was diagnosed and the job was quoted. I agreed with the quote and brough the car back to get fixed. When I collected and paid i was told that the job was done but the noise was still there because the damage was more extensive and it was the whole alternator. So in the end I paid close to £200 and the car is as or more noisy and in need of repair and i am certainly £200 lighter. What a pleasure to do business with!

If paying specialist prices to end up where you started is your thing, this is your workshop!

Took an XC60 in for a seized bearing type of noise coming from the engine bay.
We paid them to test drive it and diagnose it, they did and diagnosed as a faulty alternator pulley that needed replacing.
We booked and took the car to do that and whilst there, we asked to check on the dash lights and why the turbo sometimes didn't kick in.
Same day in the evening we collected and were told that they replaced the pulley and belt but the noise was still there because as it turns out, it was the actual alternator. They said the ecu showed a code for the lambda sensor but nothing about the turbo and that they cleared all the dash lights (airbag and dynamic lights).
We paid £10 for the test drive, £150 for the alternator pulley and £50 for clearing the dash lights.
The noise was still there, the lights came back up on the way home and we ended up with a damaged locknut key (they claim was already damaged of course) which cost us a trip to Barnsley and £107 to repair.
Today i had the alternator replaced for a brand new one and guess what, another £330 i didn't need to spend because the noise is still there!
It wasn't the alternator in the first place!!!

This workshop is the definition of incompetent thievery!
I would rather buy a Reliant Robin than taking my car to these guys again!

Great garage great price, the guys were nice and professional when the pbm failed on my s60, kept me informed as the repair went on and fixed it quickly.

Can't fault them, will use again
