I can honestly say I have just received an astonishing 5*star service. I have never met a car dealer until this day who is genuinely honest and kind.
Buying a second hand car is never easy but they perfected it down to the last detail even replacing damaged parts and hand delivering missing accessories!!. Now how is that for service ?
This made such a difference to me, a tailor made service.
I will be keeping my car for a few years yet but if I ever need another , Ugborough Garage will be the first place I will look and recommend.

I recently bought a used Jeep from this garage and am currently have many problems.........will update when its resolved or not....
it did eventually get sorted.
This is a decent local garage run by family.
James, the car salesman was pleasant and approachable when I first contacted him with the problem I had with the car, but then unfortunately consulted his 'Motor Trader Lawer" and suddenly turned into the classic "dodgey car dealer' (not answering his phone etc). To be fair to him, because he seem like a decent young chap, I think he was just being badly advised on customer service from his dodgey lawyer.
They did acknowledge the fault and take the car back and got it fixed in the end, and they did supply me with a courtesy car during that time - so eventually the service they did provide was very good and fair, and they seem like good guys just let down by some bad advise from a slimey car lawer

This sales garage is amazing! They helped me sort out my situation and even held my car for me for a couple of weeks! Definitely recommend!

Bought a Ford Fiesta from this garage earlier this month,
I was reassured of the car having a 12 month MOT and service history.
I was told the car was a previously CAT N however upon further research the car was found to be a CAT S.

After this I decided to go get the car serviced since it hadn’t been for 10,000 miles. £600 later I was told the components of the car that needed fixing would’ve been an MOT failure and the condition of the components were dangerous to drive with.

I had messaged the dealer and his only response was that “really didn’t know tbh”.

The warranty wouldn’t cover the damage costs and therefore if you’re looking to buy a car from this dealer, do your research on the car prior and expect to spend another chunk of money after purchasing!

Great garage, friendly staff, great work, will always use them.

They were exceptionally helpful. On holiday and an issue developed with my car. I phoned asking if they could take a look. Which they were able to do the very next morning. Very friendly - took time to assess the issue. Explained what they had done. As the fault could not be diagnosed - they gave advice & did not even charge for the thorough examination of the car.

I was literally taken aback.

I bought my car from Ugborough Garage in 2013 (it was second hand on an 06 plate). They have serviced and MOT’d it ever since. Now7 years on I moved to Torquay and still have it maintained by them. Recently I very stupidly put petrol in my diesel car without realising at the time and of course it conked out. I was stuck in Totnes and having just cancelled my AA cover I phoned Anthony and as soon as they could they came with their pick up and took my car away. I just picked it up today all fixed and running like a dream. I can never thank them enough for all they do. My Dad used them to service his Audi when he moved to Devon and he could not speak more highly of them so hence the reason I use them still to this day. Marvellous service and friendly staff and extremely courteous and professional. You are all stars! Thank you thank you for helping this lady in distress xxx enjoy your time off at Christmas
