Excellent customer service. Had my car’s first MOT here. The original dealer informed me that the break fluid should be changed at the same time. KC tested the fluid (for free) and found it to be perfect and in no need of a change. This saved me money and showed a garage which cares for its customers.

I don't usually write reviews but I was so pleased with the service I received from KC Autos, I felt it was necessary.
I needed a new clutch fitted (which I knew) and a new fly wheel (which I wasn't expecting) but upon investigation the fly wheel did not need replacing. (Very honest as a lot of garages could have fitted and charged for it anyway!)
From the friendly greeting on the phone and at the reception desk to the service received and the price I paid, I would highly recommend.
My final price did not exceed my original quote and I will definitely be back for an MOT in March ;-)

Have been going back to Rob at KC for 2-3 years now and can never fault his service.
Rob is very honest and always tries to be as in depth about what issue your vehicle is having + what can be done to solve it.
I have happily taken my car, my dads, my mums and recommended many friends to go to KC because I really believe in the service that is offered there.
I've been swindled and conned by too many mechanics in the past. If you need a reliable, dynamic and experienced mechanic to help you out then KC is a great choice.
He also recently performed a carbon clean on my engine to help things run smoother and more efficiently. Whilst this process isn't going to make your engine new, it certainly feels like it has rolled the mileage back bit. More responsive, a little better on fuel and smoother through the rev range. Would recommend it to anyone having a service as a little extra!

KC replaced my wife's timing chain, and claimed to have done a full service and oil change as we also said a full service needed to be carried out.

At the time my wife decided to go with KC because KC were the only ones who could fit the timing chain within a few days. However, a week passed and there were delays because the new cogs that needed to be fit could not be fitted so KC had to phone a 3rd party engineer out to sort the engine out.

A month later the engine blew. We had to pay £1500 for a new engine and we went through another company, the company said the original engine blew because an oil change had not been carried out for at least 40,000 miles and the old oil was rock solid, so solid it had to be thinned with petrol so that the original engine could be inspected for the cause of failure.

** Update **
I appreciate you are a family run business, and that your intentions are to provide a good quality service. However, I would like to get some factual statements correct. The car in question was serviced more than once. When the engine failed, just after the timing chain was replaced, it was sent to a Kia specialist to have an engine swap. The engine was shown to us and the oil that had been drained too, it was thick, black and looked like it had done at least 40,000 miles, so I don't believe it was changed when you serviced the car. As it was sent to you for maintenance as well as a change of part, you are responsible for not carrying out the maintenance. Also, you called a third on the 10th day of having the car to come and help you fit the cogs for the timing chain as you couldn't work out how to fit them, that was the delay, so I don't know how you claim you didn't call out a 3rd party is beyond me, you claim to be transparent, then lie in your response. I can upload the copies of paperwork showing that only a month had passed by the time you were given the car to inspect after the engine failure, if that helps you remember the situation?

Didn't turn up to collect the car as arranged, and didn't call us to let us know that they weren't coming. They gave the excuse that one of their techs had pulled a sickie.

We managed to drop the car to them for a minor service (oil and filter change), and they slapped us in the face again with an invoice for £205 including TWO HOURS labour! For comparison, VW charge £184 for a minor service, and the going rate at an independent around here is £120.

Avoid this garage, it's places like this that give garages a bad name.

EDIT: All the above is factually correct. I don't understand how the garage can dispute it. Also, anyone who knows me would find your accusation of me being aggressive as absolute nonsense - I've certainly never been called threatening! The receptionist seemed intent on causing friction as I was trying to leave.

All the words in the world won't change the fact you tried to charge my partner nearly double the local going rate for an oil service. You throw around false accusations while ignoring that elephant in the room. Shameful.

I have recently moved to Suffolk and my regular garage in Sussex had not reminded me that my MOT had expired. I went to KC and they fitted my car in immediately, and obtained a required part by the next day and fitted it immediately, completing the MOT.
Nice people and brilliant service

Wouldn't trust anybody else with my servicing or MOTs. I find KCA to be honest and upfront and they always keep me informed along the way. 5 star service always!!!

Superb experience. Had an issue with my car on the way to a wedding and the garage fitted me in immediately and fixed it up for me at a very reasonable price. Nothing bad to say.
