You can buy from these people with total confidence. There aren't many second-hand car dealers like them.
This is a true story. I bought a Jeep from them based solely on the ad description and their 5 star rating, because I was too far away to test drive the car.
When I got there, the car was exactly as described and they'd even serviced it for me in their garage.
It was very nice to drive, well looked-after and very reasonably priced.
I did notice that the passenger's window didn't work and got back to them about it.
They apologised and offered to repair it free of charge without hesitation. When we couldn't arrange a convenient date, they told me to get it done at a local garage and they would pay for it !!
5 star dealer !!

Great company!! I work in the motor trade myself, so I know the pitfalls. None of which applied here. Really genuine guys. Was offered help if needed it, but left alone to look over the car in my own time. I traveled a long way to view the vehicle, largely because they have such good reviews. So thought it only fair to share my experience.
Couldn’t recommend more! Would definitely use them again.

We have just puurchased a vehicle from Sovereign, and I cannot praise the service we have receied highly enough. We live over 100 miles from them but they were happy to deliver the vehicle to us and take our old car in part-exchange. due to the current situation there was a short wait, but the car has a brand new MOT, is fully serviced and even the air-con has been regassed. Paul was happy to give us his personal mobile number for any questions we might think of, and kept us fully informed all the way along. We will definitely recommend Sovereign Motor Company to all our family and friends

I purchased a used BMW K1300S Motorcycle from Sovereign in July '20, and have to say I am extrememly happy with the deal and service provided by Craig and Paul.
Whilst I was inspecting and reviewing the paperwork associated with the bike, I had many opportunities to talk to a number of Customers who were either delivering or picking up cars for work, and I can honestly say that all of the customers that morning were extremely happy with the level of service provided by the whole team.
In follow-up, Paul let me know that he found the spare key (which I now have) and also the paddock stand for the bike.
These guys are not only professinals, but they are also exceptionally nice people to do business with.
I therefore have no qualms in recommending them.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS & DO NOT TRUST!! Very dodgy, especially the MOT when buying a car!! I bought a car from Sovereign Motor Company a year ago. The car’s MOT history from 20 months ago showed that the car had advisories for the brake discs. 1 year ago, at the time of purchase, which was only 1000 miles/ 8 months after the previous MOT, I was advised that all advisories would be repaired when the new MOT was issued. As such, there were no advisories showing on the MOT certificate. Fast forward a year later, during which only 4,000 miles have been driven, the exact same brake discs caused the MOT to fail as major defects. These were clearly not replaced or repaired as brake discs last a lot longer than 4,000 miles. Similarly, the coils have also had to be replaced as they were completely rusted, which also does not happen in less than 1 year. I have now got a large bill to pay for the repairs which I was told had been carried out previously. Deceitful and should be ashamed.

In response to the owner:
Being around for 25 years doesn’t mean a lot to someone who has to spend over a thousand pounds to actually fix something you claimed to have before selling the car. Also, being from Scotland doesn’t mean you take the car to Scotland. As I told you at the time, I live near you. I am sure that you can appreciate, with your 25 years of experience, a car that has done 4000 miles since the last MOT and has been kept in a garage for most of the year due to the lockdowns, a brake disk, which you replaced according to your MOT certificate, doesn’t just need replacing, and especially does not cause a major defect fail, whether it has been driven to Scotland or the moon. Wow what a service from a business that has been around for 25 years

I saw a motorcycle advertised by sovereign and from my initial contact correspondence with Paul was fantastic..the bike was delivered to me and he said on the phone "you won't be disappointed" ....I certainly wasn't...I couldn't get to there garage and was apprehensive about buying the bike without seeing it.
I now have a beautiful bike in fantastic condition!!! Thankyou so much Paul and I recommend sovereign motors 100%...👍👍👍👍👍
