I have used Ferris Brothers for a number of years and have always had excellent service from them. I find them polite, courteous and very helpful. Everything that needs to be done is explained and quotes for the work are very accurate, so there are no nasty surprises with the bill. As a woman I feel very comfortable dealing with them. I find them to be very honest and trustworthy and would highly recommend them.

We recently took my girlfriend‘s car to the garage for an inspection as it wasn’t getting any power. After the initial inspection we decided not to go ahead with the work required to get it back on the road due to the cars high mileage. The garage was very honest with us and took us through our options.

They helped us step-by-step to purchase a new car and also helped us arrange the trade in of our current car. They were absolutely fantastic every step of the way and made sure everything ran smoothly and that we were happy with all decisions made.

Highly recommended and shall be returning for MOTs and any future work.

The Ferris Bros did a fantastic job replacing the heater blower on my Vauxhall Corsa. Andrew was friendly, communicative and transparent throughout. I called them up and they diagnosed my car on the same day and provided me with a quote for the works. Their quote was accurate and there were no hidden surprises which was a massive relief. They had to order in a part for me and they talked me through exactly what needed to be replaced. Unfortunately the part was not immediately available but they endeavoured to go above and beyond to speed up the process. Once the part arrived they fitted it immediately and the car was ready to pick up the same morning. It’s clear that these guys are very passionate about what they do, and that they do a very thorough job and don’t try and cut corners. I’m confident that I couldn’t have got a better service anywhere else. They even checked my tyre pressures and oil out of courtesy. Would highly recommend.

So happy to have found Ferris Bros to look after my car! I had loads of work done and everything was completed to a high standard and fully explained to me beforehand. Andrew gave me regular updates which was appreciated. Very reasonable prices, professional and personable. Great customer service and aftercare too which is so reassuring. They work with honesty and integrity.

AVOID THIS GARAGE!!! Took my Toyota for a vehicle inspection. They identified several faults; new brake fluid, rear hydraulic cylinders replacement, tire change and charged an extraordinary fee of £120. My wife went to pick up the car and Andrew (one of the owners) was dismissive, misogynistic, and rude towards her, leaving her very upset. We planned not to use their service and went to two different garages for a second opinion. They both charge £40 for the same type of service and told us the car was in perfect condition, brakes were new, brake fluid didn't need changing, and the rear hydraulic cylinders were fine. We were happy to get the second opinion otherwise we would have paid over £300 for these unjustified repairs. The mechanics at the other garages said, people at Ferris didn't even remove the bolts to check the brake pads. Please avoid this garage at all cost! The other '5 star' reviews don't seem legitimate. They seem to be creating fake reviews and flagging legitimate reviews. I would not trust these guys with their recommendations.

Ferris Brothers have looked after my cars for about 17 years, doing annual MOT, services and any repairs and maintenance that needed doing. I have always been happy with the service I received. No repair work was undertaken without first consulting with me. A most efficicient and reliable company that I am happy to recommend.
