PURCHASED A CAR THAT THEY HAD DONE A MANUAL GEARBOX REBUILD ON 2,3,4 SYNCROS WHICH AFTER 300 MILES STARTED CRUNCHING IN SECOND GEAR WHICH WAS ALSO 1 WEEK OUT OF THERE POOR 3 MONTH WARRANTY....THEY WOULD NOT STAND BY THE WARRANTY & BLAMED ME FOR POOR DRIVING????? HAD TO PAY FOR ANOTHER GEARBOX REBUILD WITH ANOTHER COMPANY & ON REMOVAL OF THE GEARBOX OIL THAT GEARBOX CENTRE CWMBRAN HAD PUT IN IT WAS ATF WHICH HAD DAMAGED THE SECOND GEAR SYNCRO LINING DUE TO BEING THE WRONG OIL FOR A MANUAL GEARBOX 🤡🤡🤡

My cars transmission used to make noises, I went there and they have said my clutch and fly wheel has a problem, two weeks later on 14th on June I have gave my car to them for two days to change the fly wheel and clutch. For this they have charged me £1620, I have payed with my card. since I have gotten my car back they have told me that the problem has been solved. The day I have picked up my car half way through the day the noise came back again, I have phoned them and let them know, they have told me they have ordered a switch and they would ring me back once it has arrived. Three weeks later they still haven’t called so I decided to ring them, now they have said I have an engine problem (they shouted at me and hanged up the phone). I think they haven’t done the right job and just taken my money. Please be aware and careful as they are very dodgy.

They diagnosed my car saying I had a prob with the electronic motor and pump and it was going to cost me £1200, they then said it was going to take until the middle of August to get the part. I had to call them 5 times for them to tell me they will call me back but they never did. I took my car to another garage and they told me the back pipe has a little split it in so the oil was low and this has cost me £67.50!!! Cowboys!!!

Totally disgusting how long it took to repair the gearbox then drove down the road and wasn't fixed properly. Then had van another 4 weeks . Total 3k and without a van for 3 months. Avoid them at all cost . Inexperienced unprofessional mechanic. will never use them again

sent a non leaking gearbox in for repair for 5th and 6th gear. gearbox came back leaking oil. contacted about problem so sent it back. so gearbox came back installed and run still leaking. this gearbox went in not leaking oil only for gear miss

Absolutely brilliant service and always fixed the problems with my car perfectly and in good time, highly recommend to anyone.

Called him on the Thursday with the view of having gearbox changed in my Chyslser and he told me to pop it in the next day and he would take it for a quick spin and give me a cost. I asked if he preffered a time and he said "Nope just drop it in will only take me a minute". The next day arrived and I travelled a hour to him and one there explained we had spoke on the phone the day before, but before I could finish he abruptly said "You will have to come back in a few hours" I explained I didnt know the area and he did say would only take him a minute but he walked of and shouted back "Im busy" with the shrug of his shoulders. I headed home but before I did popped the car to New Inn Transmission where a lad called Simon took it for a quick spin and told me the problem within 5 minutes so I will be using them not because of price but because they have basic manners, are not arrogant and dont speak to people like rubbish who are offering them business. Coming from a business owner myself that employs 16 people I must say that the way you speak to customers will affect your business, it would seem reading these comments on this review they are over priced something that could be overlooked if the service was above anyone else sadly it isnt. Dont waste your money with this company because imagine if something did go wrong, I doubt even if he did return your calls he would be the type of person to accept responsibility. Poor service, attitude stinks and a complete time waster!

100% would recommend this place to anyone, I've used them twice now and would use them again. Very quick turn around and polite, friendly staff and cheap 👍
