Worst garage ever been to!!! Took in for diagnostic !!! Cooling fan staying on!!! Phoned me up said all done!!! Charged me £130, Drove home still had same problem!!!! Also had flat battery when got home so had to jumpstart it to get back to garage!! Also had used a quarter of a tank of petrol???? Said leave it here we will fix it highly inconvenient as meant to be a quick job, , had my car for two days!!! Only to get a phone call to say they can’t fix it!!!could ant find the problem!! Call yourself a garage!!! Imagine going to a dentist with toothache to be told sorry can’t find the problem???? Refunded me £67 for part that wasant needed , but still had to pay £55 for diagnostic!!!! Took somewhere else!!! Instantly said sounds like a faulty thermostat sensor, replaced it!! Perfect!!!!! Car fixed!!! Stay well clear!! They have no idea what there doing!

I took my Kia Sportage there for a few issues and they were extremely helpful and communicated very well. It is hard to find a good garage but I would definitely recommend these.

Absolutely appalled by the service. Was quoted £218 over the phone for repairs only to be presented with a bill for £350. Apparently they added it up incorrectly. No offer of any refund. Never using them again.

Took my car in for a MOT, they didn’t call me to tell me if the car had passed. When I called to check what was happening I was told the car was ready to pick up and the work had been done. Wasn’t quoted or asked if I wanted them to do the work. They also completed all the advisory’s WITHOUT informing me. I was told “we had 3 of the same car in and they all failed their MOT, something must have got mixed up” yet when I called and asked about my car the person on the phone was able to confirm my registration in seconds. Overall cost me £280 and no apology. Wouldn’t recommend.

Four years ago, this garage rang me to say they had overcharged me.
When does this ever happen?

Took my car in after a failed mot . Was the only garage that could fit me on asap . Was quoted maximum £250 for repairs as only minor and I had the parts . Failed its mot again as this had to be done before repairs . Yep this part all legitimate. They phoned my partner and told him repairs would cost around £580 but when I phoned They told me different things and then told me around £400 . I'm a mechanic myself but haven't had the time to do the little things that needed doing . He said (dean) id need a whole new front exhaust when I have a small leak from hose and its a minor to kept an eye on and repaired as and when . So why do I need a whole front exhaust system ?? He also said its £90 per shock to fit and £140 for the shocks . Which have been provided by me . So why try and charge me another £140 for parts I provided . And also £90 per shock when its only £60 per hour . So you telling me it takes 3 hours to replace 2 shocks ??? Pull the other one .... Also claiming faulty wiring with lights etc when its bulbs that need replacing worst case dodgy earth also saying I need a new handbreak when all it needs is adjusting . Yes a mechanic went through my car with a fine tooth comb myself included before I decided to use this garage . Only reason I didn't use my reliable one is because it couldn't be fitted in until march and I needed it done asap . I wish I'd read the reviews before hand otherwise I wouldn't of wasted my time . I know the rates on garages but to be told £250 then £580 they must of thought blonde and seen me coming . Well he had a bloody shock when I told him he was wrong and told him did you see me coming did you . Well un lucky . I will not be doing business with you now or never . ITS A £60 PER HOUR GARAGE . THERE'S NOTHING WORSE THAN TRYING TO RIP SOMEONE OFF . YES TIMES ARE TOUGH FOR US ALL BUT YOU DON'T DO THE DIRTY ON PEOPLE BY TRYING TO PULL A FAST ONE .... AVOID !!!!

Started to use Roger Blackmore Autos in 2021 for my car's MOT, service and general repair. Each time I've taken the car in, it's been dealt with very professionally and in a very timely manner. The lady in the office is incredibly organised & helpful and the mechanics are polite & very hard working! I highly recommend this garage! 😊

MOT. Pre booked 3 days in advance, popped car down at allotted time, had a phone call 3 hrs later to pick it up. Super efficient and from previous experience, always communicate and blnever felt overcharged.
