Ashley Wood Recovery

Very good for vehicle recovery, polite, took my vehicle from a RTC and stored it for the police, allowed me to recover my goods and very friendly while doing so. Would recommend for vehicle recovery!

Do not go near these people! We waited 19 hours to be picked up after we broke down. Luckily we were in a camper, so slept on the side of the road. They did not properly communicate with our insurers, they repeatedly lied to us saying they were ‘5 mins away’ about every hour of our 19 hour wait. If you don’t want to be messed around and have an extremely frustrating time, go to another company!

Distance of 9miles from Salisbury yard to where we broke down. The RAC contracted these clowns to take us to our requested garage. Did not communicate with RAC, both companies giving different information and It took them over 7hours to finally arrive. Only to then tell us they were taking us to a different place than was requested by us and the RAC. Dropped us off at a lorry park which was prohibited so we are expecting fines, almost damaged our door hitting the raised curb, but luckily I managed to grab the door. A combination of this contractor and RAC took us a total of 15 Hours from initial break down to garage. Would avoid at all cost and if the RAC tells you these are the contractors, request another.

These people took my car away on behalf of the police . When I got it back it was scratched and covered in oil . The owner was rude refused to give me any Dickinson or clean the oil off

Absolutely terrible service. Extremely rude and didn’t actually do anything to help with my car whatsoever. The most obnoxious man I have ever met, pretty much took one look at my car, and drove off.

I was stranded in a live lane of a dual carriageway. I received a text informing me they would be in attendance by 13.15hrs, which was 1 hour after reporting the breakdown. They did not arrive. When I telephoned I was informed the driver was on his way and would be half an hour. Several telephone calls and lies later the driver arrived at 17.00hrs. He informed me that he was only given the job 1 hour previous and no other drivers had been issued the job.

Thank you so much to the lad who came out today to help me, I was stranded for over 3 hours and emergancy assist LTD didn't tell them I was disabled and that my car was electric just to drop me off at a swimming complex- explained there's a charging point at Romsey rapids but he took me all the way home in Southampton! Honestly can't thank you enough for driving out of your way to help me!

Was given Ashley Wood Recovery when using Green Flag breakdown for a flat battery.

Rob gave us a call to let us know he was on the way and arrived within the confirmed arrival time given (around 50 mins from first reporting the breakdown). He was very professional and efficient, and a very positive, friendly guy given it was 23:00 on a Tuesday evening! Got us back on the road within 2 or 3 minutes of arriving.
